Out of town, based on reviews I would check them out. Had a gel manicure and pedicure. Let’s start with the manicure the nail tech literally butchered my cuticles, I had cuts all over. I told her to go gently and she is cutting to deep, she nodded her head and said she would go gentle. She was still very aggressive, when I tell her that my cuticles are bleeding and asked for rubbing alcohol she went it got it. Why ignore the damage? I was baffled. She aggressively filed not only my nail but the skin around it. The actual gel part turn out fine. The pedicure was fine, the person took their time to do a good job until we got to the nail polish application, they painted outside the nail bed and used the brush to clean it up. However b/c it was such a bright color is smudged everywhere, not very professional. The process took 1.5 hours and not once was I offered water (others were offered, my gut told they cater to a very specific demographic). I don’t recommend this place.

I was so excited when I saw the sister store to the Imperial Nails in Glenview open one in Northfield. I have had gel, dip and regular manicures from the Northfield location. 3 Gel, one dip and 1 regular manicure. My nails chipped within 2-3 days each and every time no matter what method I chose. That has never happened before in another store or the sister store in Glenview. A week and a half after my nail dip manicure I decided to go with the regular manicure because my nails are weakened by the product. They charged me $10.00 more to take off the color even though I got it done there. BTW, I always get pedicures each time too. My polish stays on for two weeks. Even though this place is around the corner from me it’s not worth it. The manager Kelly (I think that her name) is always upset and yelling about something to her workers. Unpleasant shop/bad vibes every time.
