Chris has been my (and my sons’) barber for years now. I’ve been coming to his shop since it opened and he always does a fantastic job. I’ll keep coming back for as long as he keeps cutting hair. Monday is a walk-in only day with late evening hours which is a really big help for me with my work hours. Thanks Chris!

Imperial barbers is an excellent place to be, the 1st time I got my haircut there was in 2017, I haven’t been to another barbershop since. Sometimes I stop by just to hang out! This place should be called “Imperial stylist” because there are also hair dressers that work there too. It’s a very welcoming business to all people, black, white and everything in between! It is family driven and all of the customers are treated as such. Mondays the shop is open until Midnight for all walk-ins! There probably isn’t another barbershop in the country that does that. And everyday the shop is open at 0730. I am an active duty sailor, I had an important luncheon today that I just found out about yesterday! I was able to get a haircut before the event all thanks to the shop being open so early! I would give 10 stars if I could! Keep up the outstanding work Imperial!

This barbershop literally saved my reputation. I recently moved to Jacksonville and needed a haircut before I started my new job. The first barbershop I went to had nice reviews so I went there. The barber completely ruined my cut. He didn’t give me the cut I asked for. I was very frustrated because I wanted to make a great impression at my new job. So about 9:30 pm on a Monday night I’m searching internet trying to see if it was any way possible to get my hair fixed. I called this shop and the owner personally fixed my haircut. The guys in the shop are completely professional. I will never go to another shop as long as I’m living in the Jacksonville area. Thanks.

First Great Barber we have experienced in Jacksonville that took his time and listened to what we wanted for our 3 and 7 year old sons! He did a great job, the boys look very handsome. The atmosphere is relaxing for adults and good for kids! He played a child friendly cartoon for my boys too!

I had got a less-than-ideal cut from one of the barbers and voiced that “It’s not what I was looking for” when the barber immediately made it known to me that “this is the best haircut that [I] will ever have.” I liked the atmosphere and I loved the energy that the owner put into mingling with the clients, but if I come back, nobody but the owner of the shop will touch my head.

I actually went in hoping to find a permanent barber close to my home here in Argyle for my 2 sons. When I walked in at approx 7pm was not greeted, but was asked if I was his 6:30appt. I said that I wasn’t and that I didn’t have an appt. The man then went into talking about how an appointment was needed to be seen and I was honestly in a rush to get my son’s hair cut and was hoping to be met with customer service if not even a service. As I escort my 11yo and 8yo back to my car he then follows to tell me how its not personal but he has over 600 clients and doesn’t do many walk-ins. I say I understand but maybe he should look into including that in his Google page that they are by appointment only. I tell him ok but I have to go because I do have to find someone to cut my son’s hair, because it is at this time after 7pm. He then hollers “Just Sad!” at me as I’m backing out and my window is down and my sons can hear him as well. It seems like his 6:30 appt wasn’t coming as they were already 30mins late but the lack of respect was over the top. A Black man who I’m assuming is the owner, who is willing to start an unwarnted confrontation with a Black woman really hurts my heart. I would love to say that we have another positive black business on this side of town but if that is the type of respect that is shown to a potential customer, I will pass.
