This is a well-run tanning salon. The owner has great taste (cute decor, fun items for sale, lots of beauty options) and keeps the place clean and upbeat. I read reviews commenting on the owner being rude and have to disagree. You can tell she has a strong personality (some people do) but that is a good thing – she is likable, offers a good service, and is definitely polite. Her staff are always friendly too. I drive the extra 15 minutes from my house to come here over another place in Central Park.

Best Place to tan! Hands Down! Owner and staff are always very nice and respectful. Owner always has new bulbs in her bed. Side note for other comments about piercings guns, the last I checked the mall only uses piercing guns. They have been doing it for years. What’s the difference? You can also buy them online. Opinions….Everybody has one! You can’t top this place.

Critical: Professionalism, ValueThe woman who owns this store doesn’t know how to treat people with kindness when she gets a little bit of criticism. It is well known that piercing your ears with a gun is very bad and can cause blunt force trauma, making the healing process longer and difficult. I want it to be well known how rude this woman was to me for no real reason. I never once bashed her store, just stated that piercing guns are bad and I wouldn’t recommend getting your ears done here. By all means get a tan, that’s what your business is. Also she harasses her staff and doesn’t pay them if she doesn’t like them. On top of this, she took down her review section on Facebook because she had a few more negative reviews. A business owner should take criticism when and be polite to people. You just lost a lot of potential customers. I have been tanning here since they opened. I was one that tanned somewhere else for years and was skeptical because I assumed tanning was to be for 30 min not 11 or 12 minutes, how is that better??? Well the beds are bar none above the rest. Bulbs are changed frequently, the staff is knowledgeable and always friendly and one of the most important things for me is the cleanliness. Image Sun is the most cleanly tanning salon I have ever been in. This is the place to tan in the Fredericksburg area for sure.

The girl that signed me up was like a ray of sunshine. I didn’t catch her name or I’d give her a shout out! I’ve been tanning about a week at level 2 and then last week level 2 wasn’t available due to waiting on new bulbs or something so I had to either downgrade (free) or upgrade for $10. I upgraded that day (even though I think I’ve paid them enough $$ to upgrade for free….since its not my fault both their beds were down) and the lady that checked me in must not have seen that I was just starting out tanning and she booked me the maximum time. I just told her I didn’t want to get burnt. Guess what…. I got burnt. Regardless of what they tell you… ‘you’ll be fine’ or whatever….always use caution. I couldn’t go back all week so I basically wasted a weeks worth of tanning PLUS gave them $10! Live & learn I guess. The place is clean, friendly staff for the most part and they have a clean bathroom for customers to use. Bonus! 🙂

I repeatedly called and asked if the spray tan was going to be patchy at least 10 times and they told me with absolute certainty that it would not be patchy. I followed ALL of their instructions and these photos are from after FOUR days after the spray tan!!! Even if I had completely disregarded the instructions it should not have looked like this. I immediately asked for a refund and they refunded the membership but still charged me for the two spray tans that I got even though they looked so much worse than when I even fake tan myself!! I repeatedly called and asked if the spray tan was going to be patchy at least 10 times and they told me with absolute certainty that it would not be patchy. This is my go-to place for tanning.The owner is awesome, and everyone is so friendly when I go in there. I love their beds and the spray tan is the best in town! It looks so natural, I get compliments all the time and people don’t believe its spray! My fave place!!
