Critical: CleanlinessI have never had a worse experience with getting my nails done in my life.After being off of work for about 4 weeks and in and out of the hospital, I was tired of looking at my overgrown nails. Now that I am going back to work tomorrow and starting to feel somewhat like myself again, I wanted to treat myself to fresh new nails. Not only are the nails nothing like what I wanted, the quality is off. They are bumpy and uneven on the surface, the lengths are all uneven. They are not filed evenly or remotely into the shape I wanted. Also not the color I chose. This is all fine. I can live with that but it’s still disappointing. The worst part is how the tech used the tools to dig into my fingers. I was in pain the whole time. I left bleeding. When I got home I washed and sanitized my new open wounds but some of them will not stop bleeding. Not to mention, my tech also had an open wound on her hand. Concerning.I have been in enough pain the last few weeks. I wanted to do something relaxing that would make me feel pretty again. I wanted to do something nice for myself now that I can take care of myself again. Instead I was in pain, I’m left bleeding with open wounds, and my nails don’t even look good.And yep. I love how Anna did my nails! (My husband does too) She was very sweet and attentive, and did exactly what I wanted! I had my previous dip nails removed and re-done with a super pretty teal color. Very happy with my first experience, will definitely return!

I may have just died and went to heaven. Brandy was my nail tech and I may come back and ask her to marry me. Seriously. It’s been a long and difficult week and this was a random last minute decision to do a self care pedicure. After a long search online, I saw good reviews at this location and I am so glad I came in! I am all about a good massage and boy did Brandy deliver! I got the most inclusive pedi service and it was reasonably priced and the exact pampering I was needing today. Exceeding expectations, actually. Brandy, I’ll definitely be back! Thank you!

I came to Image Nail salon to get a polish change. I had a shellac design that I wasn’t happy with so I thought it would be best to go and get a color change at a different salon. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a woman in the front, who was very nice, I waited until one of the nail techs were available and as I approach their chair, the nail tech did not greet me (even though I said “Hi”) and acted very irritated the whole time I was in their chair. The customer next to me commented on me being black. And I noticed how my nail tech seemingly did not want to do my nails. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a nail salon in my life! I will not be back here.

I love Maya and her time. It’s a very comfortable experience. I love how she does my nails. I am always pleased and she takes time to always do a wonderful job. I haven’t lost a nail yet or even wrecked any of the polish. This is a great nail salon.

I have been going to this Nail Salon since moving to the Portland area in August. I have had a great experience there up until the last couple of times. I had very long natural nails, a few had broken & I was putting tips on them, I still had 6 long natural nails. At one of my appointments one of the ladies cut all of my nails down to nothing, I was clearly upset (but still tipped really well), I let it go thinking that it would be good for my nail health to let them grow out again. The next time I came in, I was treated so poorly by the nail tech, it honestly kind of hurt my feelings. I am always super nice & tip REALLY well. They do a fantastic job with your nails, I loved going in until my last experience. I like to get designs on my nails, when I make my appointment, I tell them that I will be getting a design, again the last time I was there, when I asked for my design this tech responded with “yeah okay, but I don’t have lots of time”, I have never been that uncomfortable as a customer. I still gave her a $30 tip for a $75 service. As I mentioned before they do a great job with the nails, they select who they are nice to as a customer. Really unfortunate, I have sent 15 people to this salon, have always been kind, almost always end up spending at least $150 there and give at least a 25% tip.
