I have to be fair about this review. I last came here late 2018. Everything was cool. Fast forward to January 2020. It was 630 pm. I was aware that the shop closed at 7 pm. I asked the 2 barbers in the back if they had time for 2 more. They both said yes. The price list on the wall CLEARLY STATED “$18 for an adult haircut.” The 2 guys charged us $25 each, saying the pices on the wall were incorrect. It wasn’t like it was Jan 2 or 5. It was Jan 18. When we said we would contact the owner about the pricing, the 2 men said they were about to go home and decided to take us anyway. They didn’t want us to contact anyone. At the end of the day, this is Memphis and I haven’t seen a crisp, gotta have it haircut that warrants $25. I will NOT come here again for anything else. This is another reason it’s hard to support some businesses.

I don’t even know if I would give them a one star we just moved to Tennessee from Cali and I have never been treated at any barbershop I have ever taken my son to the way I was at this one we sat for 25 mins before he tells me that there’s a wait then 4 other guys walk in and then proceeds to tell me there’s 5 people in front of my son wth is it because my son was white!! I don’t get it but I will never ever step foot in that barbershop again and I will make sure I tell all of my fellow military personal ad well cause it was absolutely ridiculous!!!

Such a beautiful place! I love that the owner Jai, has ALL of I’m Unique’s customers best interests at heart. They have a good team of barbers working so you can’t go wrong! My son will be back!
