Sara put lowlights and a toner in my hair after my mom and I tried to touch up my roots where they had grown out and it just turned yellow and didn’t process at all. I seriously thought my hair was ruined forever. She did an absolutely amazing job!! I will definitely be coming back to see Sara. She was very sweet and we looked at pictures and made sure we were on the same page before she put any color on my hair. She also put a conditioning and protein treatment in and trimmed it. Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueWaited for an hour after my appointment to get started because Sarah was not notified by the owner Leslie that I was there. I wanted a Summery balayage and did not get what I wanted at all. I ended up much darker than I was before with tiger stripes. And that was after they “fixed” it. It first came out gray on my ends and the highlights on top were terrible so they had to do a root smudge. I didn’t realize how bad my haircut was until I styled it at home myself. I left without having even remotely similar to what I asked for. I was in the salon for almost 7 hours. I spoke to the owner the next day they were open over the phone to see what all I was charged for because it just wasn’t sitting well with me.. I paid 205.00 and tipped $20 even though she messed up my hair. After speaking to the owner she let me know she could refund me for a conditioning treatment that I didn’t ask for on my ends that were later chopped off and she wanted to see the picture of the hair color that I wanted. She said that she was not a part of the conversation that took place between my stylist Sarah and I about my hair so she wanted a picture. I texted her a side by side picture of my hair and the same screenshot of the hair I showed Sarah. I went back to the salon to discuss the picture with the owner Leslie and little did I know that it was more about who is right and who is wrong. I never once asked for a refund. All I wanted was an understanding of why this happened and where we can go from here. Instead, she lied and said she was in the back and heard the conversation between Sarah and I of what I wanted done to my hair… when she already admitted that she was not apart of that. She presumed to call ME a liar and put words in my mouth all because she is “standing behind her stylist.” I never had any intention on making this a big deal. We are human and we make mistakes but we can also make things right. Leslie chose not to and made matters worse. That is terrible business.It is not the first time that I have had my hair colored, bleached, balayaged, etc. I know what to expect and I am a patient person. To be treated like I am dumb and disrespected like that is completely unacceptable. Just goes to show you that you can’t just chose a salon out of the need for convenience. Drive to your stylist if you have to because it is just not worth your hair, time, & money to go somewhere else sometimes. Positive: Cleanliness, Quality, Valuei had the underside of my (dark brown) hair dyed blonde by kelsee and i absolutely adore it! my hair isn’t damaged and is soft to the touch, and looks just like i wanted to. kelsee is super super nice and i highkey recommend her and i’ll def be back for touchups. <3Service: Hairstyling
