Positive: ProfessionalismCritical: Communication, QualityI think this was maybe my fourth time there for my laser hair removal procedure. I admit, at first, the first few zaps from the laser caught me off guard and my upper body was reacting to it. I even startled Ms. Evans who was doing the session this time. (By the way, she was very professional, honest, and efficient.) She did, however, already informed me that the strength or intensity of the laser would be increased with each session until I reach the maximum strength for my skin type. I understood this as they have told me this every time at each appointment. But, man! Whoo! Those first few zaps were painful! But, Ms. Evans – ever the professional – helped me calm down by just keeping the conversation going until it was over. We laughed and talked and time just seemed to fly on by. Based off of this experience alone, I still highly recommend Ideal Image for this type of treatment and the others that they offer. I also want to thank Ms. Deloris Evans for her professional demeanor and for being a great conversationalist. She made a painful procedure less painful and more so enjoyable!UPDATE:My May 22nd appointment was auto-cancelled after already had pre-scheduled almost 2 months prior due to receiving their text and voice message late to confirm my appointment. Every other text, call, and voice message came through on time except Ideal Image’s which I thought was very odd and caused me to miss my appointment that I was in great anticipation for. They send a ridiculous amount of emails, texts, voice messages to make sure that you are keeping your appointment which I always answered, but the one LITERALLY A DAY before my appointment date came through late resulting in my appointment being auto-cancelled.. I had even called some days earlier to voice my concerns about my hair growing back and to let them know that I was very eager to have my next session and now it’s cancelled!I called and complained about this incident and requested to speak with a manager who turned out to be absolutely no help at all and was basically saying the exact same things I was already told. It is now June 11 and I still have not been added to the schedule and my next appointment is already scheduled for mid July.Based off this experience alone, my rating has dropped considerably and I don’t highly recommend this business any longer because of how dismissive some of the staff were to me regarding this incident. I am very upset and dissatisfied with how this was handled. I explained this to the area manager I had spoken with and a few other staff members and I added that I am paying on this bill every month just to have my appointment cancelled just like that because of some auto-cancel system.I am not well-off financially and I sought their services only to be given mediocre service. And the hair is steadily growing back and I’m back shaving again… something I really did NOT want to have to keep doing.
