Old-style barbershop with charming staff and very nice styles and cuts. The staff truly cares about the quality of the haircut they’re giving, and you can tell while they work that they treat their craft with respect. The shop is small and in busy hours it can get slightly crowded, but the atmosphere is pleasant and the quality is worth the wait.

Holy cow! Best haircut I have ever had. Only been here once, but from my only visit, I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Very thorough, they take their time. Only $12 haircut too, but I tipped the guy $5 because it was so good. If you live in or around the Suffern area, definitely stop over at Ideal, it is the best.

I always felt uncomfortable getting a haircut at small barbershops like this one. I was always worried how the haircut would come out. Now that I found this barber shop I would not go anywhere else for a cut. Very nice staff, cheap and quality haircuts.
