Positive: QualityToday was my very first time visiting. First, let me just say the owner introduced herself soon as I walked in the building and she was the one who did my hair. I was nervous to enter a new place but she made sure I felt right at home. I’m pregnant and she made sure I didn’t have to do much, that says a lot about her as a person. Now let’s get to the hair! she washed my hair and it felt wonderful. I’ve had silk press before but nothing like how she did it. She did a marvelous job, I’m so impressed by how silky my hair feels and how it feels when I run my fingers through my hair. Today was my very first time visiting. First, let me just say the owner introduced herself soon as I walked in the building and she was the one who did my hair. I was nervous to enter a new place but she made sure I felt right at home. I’m pregnant and she made sure I didn’t have to do much, that says a lot about her as a person. Now let’s get to the hair! she washed my hair and it felt wonderful. I’ve had silk press before but nothing like how she did it. Positive: QualityI have enjoyed the owner Leitra for 3 years now. I have enjoyed her because she takes care of my hair really good. She looks at my hair and automatically start whatever treatment she sees that need to be done, whether it’s a hot oil treatment or ends need cutting, etc. When I first came to her my hair was about 3 inches long and now it’s hanging below my shoulders. I have enjoyed the owner Leitra for 3 years now. I have enjoyed her because she takes care of my hair really good. She looks at my hair and automatically start whatever treatment she sees that need to be done, whether it’s a hot oil treatment or ends need cutting, etc. When I first came to her my hair was about 3 inches long and now it’s hanging below my shoulders. Critical: ProfessionalismAs texts show. Great at picking up the phone when I called around 8:30 – 9 am this morning. But as for communication, extremely quick to jump to conclusions. Ended up not using the service and am going to another loctician. 1 star for the messages, 2 stars for trying to find information for me, and it would have been a third star if the appointment was rescheduled for a later date. Please when going to this location, just show up in person to ask questions. Do not communicate over the phone. This was not okay by any means. 230 could have been anything. I change my hair color so it’s a pastel color. 230 could have been the price which is a reasonable price for locs. Once again, even if the text said 230 today, 230 in the afternoon, 2:30, or 2:30pm it would save a lot of confusion. Be specific when coming here, because I booked via Booksy and found this place and didn’t check the reviews ahead of time. Place has great reviews, but the worst ones are for communication after a misunderstanding or something that should have been more specified. Edit: About 20 minutes later, I was asked if I was still coming after she said she could no longer accommodate me and that she was booked… ‍♀️As texts show.
