I just tried this place for the first time this last weekend. I was excited to try it because it’s new. When I went I got a gel manicure and pedi because that’s what I always get. The pedicure was done really well. The manicurist did cut my skin to the point of bleeding on a couple of my cuticles on my fingernails by mistake, (i added the pics of the small cuts on the cuticles) but when they did, they didn’t sanitize it immediately (or at all) and actually pressed on the cut/s with their bare finger to try and stop the bleeding which i felt uncomfortable with but didn’t verbalize my discomfort at the time and i should have. So after I paid and left that day (over 100$), 5 hours later my gel on my nails peeled up. which is weird i’ve never had that happen before. so i got back on sunday, and they fixed it for me and i just moved on. today is wednesday and more of nails peeled up AGAIN. i went back in to talk to a manager to request a refund and they said “i’ll just fix your nails for you” and i told them i don’t want anymore fixes since i’ve had to come back once already to have them fixed, in a matter of a few days. i just wanted a refund because the service rendered was just not good quality when they initially did my manicure and they refused to give me a refund. i’ve literally never had a business treat me that way, especially nail salons. granted i’ve never asked one for a refund before. i just wanted to share because i really hated the confrontational experience when i asked for a refund. the manager wasn’t exactly “rude” to me it was more of just a confrontational vibe. because it turned into an argument in front of other customers, it was awkward. what bothers me most really is just the fact they refused to give me a refund on what was clearly a poor service. if my nails peeled up repeatedly it just wasn’t done well. and i felt it was fair to ask for a refund of the money for the manicure after giving the first “fix” a chance. i think it would’ve been different if my ask was outrageous or over the top. but asking for a refund on a poorly done service is totally fair. i just wanted to put this information out there in case it helps someone else in the future who feels like they got treated poorly by this business.

used to be one of my favorites until the last time i went. i asked for french tips with a star like on the picture and it was going great at first until she told me the star was gonna look different. i thought maybe she meant a different color. absolutely not. i look at my nail and i saw that monstrosity. it was not even remotely close to the picture and to make things worse she knew she couldn’t draw it but kept going.

I went there a some months ago when I was in my freshman year because my mom showed me their Facebook and I really liked their work. It was back to school and I wanted to get my nails done because I’d never gotten them done before. I got an older lady and when I got there she spilled something on my sweater, which wasn’t a big deal, I told her it would come out in the wash but she insisted on pouring water on it for a good 10 minutes, which in my opinion made it worse because I was soaking wet afterwards. Her intentions were very sweet, but I was on a time crunch and I asked her repeatedly not to pour water on me because I had somewhere to go after I was done. As far as the nail experience. She made them way too long and every time I asked her to make them shorter she insisted that they wouldn’t look good if she filed them down , I was only like 14 at the time, (I’m sixteen now) so I just believed her and didn’t ask again. She wouldn’t let me choose the color I wanted, she wouldn’t let me take out my reference photo, she cut me multiple times, overall she just wouldn’t listen to me at all. The only time she actually payed attention to anything I said was when I called my mother in there, and my mom actually put her foot down and said “since I’m paying for them, I want to get what I’m paying for”

I loved this place but can’t justify their prices anymore. For a basic fill-in with same colored powder, same shape, no designs etc. and an eyebrow wax, I just feel $60 is excessive when I spent less than 30 minutes total in the establishment for both services. $50 for this and my nails were already this color powder AND shape? Man please. Prices are made up on the fly, are not listed and change from one visit to the next and the quality of my nails is about the same if not less than that of other salons in the area. Unfortunately I’ll be finding another salon to frequent.

I am 17 years old and I decided to go to iconic nail bar in Lancaster South Carolina for the first time. This was one of thee worst experiences I’ve ever had in a nail shop. First the man who did my nails was very rough and he kept yanking my hand he continued to do this until my mother walked in once she walked in he tried to talk to me also I spent $75 on some short bland nails when usually I get long very colorful with lots of designs I also got some jewels put on my nails they came off the next day and to make matters worse he cut off half of my real nail and I had to pull it off and it started bleeding I will never come back to this nail shop

Helen was very sweet but my God! She rushed through my pedicure so fast that she only removed cuticles from my big toes. She even used the cuticles cutter to exfoliate my heels and rough parts by dragging the edge down my foot! She got gel nail polish all over my feet, including the tops of my feet. I never felt so rushed and unrelaxed for a pedicure EVER especially mid day on a weekday! That was my first time going there, will NEVER GO AGAIN!

One of the worst nail salons. Dirty nail desks/stations with other customers drinks (there were three different empty drinks at the station I was invited to. Tools were traded between workers without washing.
