I went to this salon for the first time this week and had my hair cut by Elise – she did an AMAZING job – I went for the dramatic “cut it all off” and she took her time, slowly bringing my shoulder length hair shorter and shorter until it was what I wanted. It is day 3 now and I can honestly say I love it more every day! So happy! Haircut

I got a good haircut, first one in three months, but the price went up from $20 to $30. No warning, no explanation, no apology. I understand that the pandemic has put a lot of pressure on small businesses, but I am a long term customer, and I would have expected some explanation. I don’t need an expensive haircut. I shall look for a cheaper alternative.

I have very curly hair and until now I spent a day going to the city and a small fortune getting it cut properly. But now I have discovered Maria. She cut my hair a few strands at a time, checking the direction of the curl for each lock (some of my curls go left and some right) and cutting each curl at the exact right spot. This might sound crazy, but using the Deva approach, this is what curly hair needs. The result was incredible. My hair holds its curl perfectly and the cut should last 3-4 months. Maria doesn’t make a big deal about her training, but anyone with curly hair should spend the extra money to have her do a proper cut. It isn’t cheap, and takes almost 2 hours, but is really worth it.

I went to Iconic for the first time after the shop where I had been going closed. A gentleman named Mustafa was recommended to me, so I asked for him when I scheduled my appointment. I’m always nervous about starting with a new hairdresser because I have hair that’s in between curly and wavy, so it’s no easy cut. When I got to the salon, I was immediately impressed by the atmosphere. It was very inviting with its bold and funky paint job and cheerful employees. Mustafa was a perfectionist, and instantly I felt at ease and happy to find that he was everything I was told he would be by the person who recommended him. I have found my new hairdresser. I am more than happy to rate Iconic Hair, and I would definitely recommend the shop to others.
