Critical: ProfessionalismI went yesterday (12/12/21) and the nail tech I had was too rough and was moving too fast! She filed the meat on my finger at least three times. I shouldn’t be leaving the nail salon with cuts on my fingers. If your workers are going to rush, they don’t need to be doing nails. I went yesterday (12/12/21) and the nail tech I had was too rough and was moving too fast! She filed the meat on my finger at least three times. I shouldn’t be leaving the nail salon with cuts on my fingers. If your workers are going to rush, they don’t need to be doing nails. She apologized, but I hope it’s not like that for every client she services.

My daughter and myself went in for services. I made an appointment a week in advance, but that didn’t matter because we still waited 20 minutes to be served. They were extremely busy and understaffed. The place is nice and clean and the staff are very pleasant! We were leaving the next day to go on vacation which was November 12, 2022. I was very happy with my services, but my daughter was not. She had only gel polish put on her nails which should last awhile considering the cost. The day after we we were into our trip my daughter’s nail polish started lifting off of her nails completely. We managed to glue it down for a day, but by the next day it was gone! My daughter had gel polish put on her toes here previously with no problems. Not sure what happened this time but not what you’re expecting especially leaving on a trip the next day. Today is only November 18th 2022.

The salon has a great team of nail technicians! My two girls doing both hands and feet are both skilled and friendly 🙂 they were very patient as I wanted to do shimmering and shiny nails which took almost 2 hours in total. They are still very meticulous in the process.

While the staff member who performed my services was extremely kind, she did a $55 pedicure, gel nail removal and gel manicure in less than 1 hour. She started at 2:40 and was finished with everything at 3:38. A $55 pedicure should not be that quick. She started the pedicure at 2:40 and at 2:58, she was removing my gel nail color and worked on my finger nails until 3:30. I don’t mind paying $55 but not when it’s rushed. She also barely spent any time scrubbing my feet when they are extremely dry. She did a few swipes and that was it. Sadly, this was my first and last visit.

I showed them a picture of the design I wanted and they not only copied it, but made it more beautiful by adding some little gems. I will NOT be returning to this salon. I decided to check it out as it is a convenient location. My pedicure was great, no concerns there—but my manicure is another story. The nail tech assisting me nicked my skin with the cuticle trimmers, which at first I didn’t think was a huge deal. Even paper cuts lead to lots of blood. However, this nail tech continued on, gloves free without waiting for the bleeding to stop and with her bare finger tips covered in my blood. She used their normal brushes and polishes on the nail with blood flowing and crusted over and peelingthe nail itself. From what I could tell, these brushes were put away without any sanitary measures taken, and nail polishes were put away as normal for the next customer despite being clearly contaminated. There was a huge miscommunication when the job was close to finish and I got the courage to ask about the very evident blood still visible through my clear coat gel French tips. And shortly after being dismissed on this issue, I mentioned that there was blood still on several white (now sealed) nail tips from her lack of hygiene. She did not understand, and continued to do additional clear coats and use acetone on the gel top coat to “clean” it off. Ultimately, after realizing I was still displeased the manager was involved and simply repainted over the poor nail job quickly. Now my nails are thick, and already the clear coat is peeling off less than a day later. For all the trouble (and after specifying that I was more than happy to pay full price for the pedi), the manager gave me a 10% discount. Incredibly unprofessional and I’m afraid that my nail will be infected in looking at the damage to my cuticle post-cleaning. Two hours of “relaxation” totally wasted. I would NEVER recommend if you’re looking for spa services.
