All I have to say that it was worth EVERY DAMN DIME spent on my daughter’s hair to look beautiful for her Sweet 16. PERIOD!!! Kanya was very caring, informative, and supportive the entire time. She involved us in the entire process. My daughter learned a lot more about how to take care of her natural hair. I would highly recommend this salon who is looking for expert care for their natural hair.

Kanya did an awesome job of educating me about how to care for my spongy hair and also recommended styles that will work for my hair. I came to I Am Nubian for the first time after many numerous attempts in the past and I am sooo happy I finally got to experience what they have to offer. When I first walked in the salon, I was immediately impressed by the appearance of the store. As you know, first impressions mean everything and they sure did deliver. I waited just a few minutes before being greeted by the lovely Kanya. She is so patient, friendly, and a great communicator throughout my entire service. It is my first time getting perm rods done so I had a million questions about the process, aftercare and what products to use for my daily styles. I am so happy with the results, accuracy of time spent in the salon and the friendliness of everyone there. It screams Black Girl Magic. Everybody compliments on each others work so you can clearly tell they are a well put together team! I’m already plotting on my next appt with her! Thanks so much for giving me a luxury experience.

Never been to the salon because I don’t live near by but I have recently purchased some products from I Am Nubian for the first time and they are awesome. The shampoo, conditioner, hair masks I really love. But that detangling brush I is my fav. I have bought others in the past, but this one gets the job done in one pass, and feels soooo good on my scalp as well as the brush for blowing out. Happy with my purchase!

I received the full service flat twist out with Kanya. Her service was excellent from start to finish. She was prompt with starting my hair. My favorite part was the wash- literally top tier. I was given a blanket and they provided a foot rest. Kanya walked me through the entire wash process. During my steam treatment, I was so relaxed I fell asleep! Kanya had excellent customer service, she was extremely kind and knowledgeable. She not only styled my hair, but she educated me about how to care for my hair and maintain my style. My hair feels so great! The owner also made sure to greet me and chat with me about how my experience was going. My experience was all around excellent and I can’t wait to go back again!

I had such an amazing experience my hair was done by Darlene Floyd, she is great! She is such a warming soul. She created a moment for me to feel comfortable she gave me wonderful tips about what to do with my hair that I have recently put to the test and it has worked! She also explained to me step by step what she was doing and how it was beneficial for my hair. That hair wash is the truth!! It was so Therapeutic. She has also told me SPECIFIC PRODUCTS to use to achieve the hair goals that we set that day I came in. Her attitude is just refreshing and she is very honest, professional, and informative. The place overall is just Beautiful the energy there was serene, it’s a vibe. It was my first time going and I didn’t know what to expect. First off, the salon is AMAZING. Design Was sleek and well thought out. I was well received by Nadège and we started off by talking about my hair goals and then proceeded to actual service. She has the softest touch and I very much enjoyed the shampoo, steam, treatment down to the chair used at the sink….I know I just got a was and blow no style as I am between braids but my hair looked fabulous and well trimmed at the end. I left in two French braids that I am still rocking 4 days later. I look forward to my next appointment because the service was on point. Thank you for a wonderful experience I will definitely be a repeat customer especially since I am looking to train my curls and improve my natural hair journey.
