Selina is super nice and friendly! I did a hair straighten and a Brazilian blowout at this salon. Selina is awesome! Very friendly and the one-woman show behind I-Salon. I got a trim for $35 and she also flat ironed my hair as a part of the process. This did not include washing my hair, which I was fine with as the haircut looked great for the price. She is bilingual in Mandarin and English. Selina also only takes cash or Venmo. She also does keratin straightening (my quote was $250 for my hair that is about 4 inches below my shoulder) and balayage (again, my quote was $250). Happy to support this local San Mateo business!

Selina is the best! I’ve been seeing her for just about a decade (back when she was in Daly City) and she’s always given me great haircuts. She always remember how I like it cut, but is always willing to cut it any way. I’m so happy she’s in San Mateo and would always recommend her haircuts!

Selina is a great lady, super friendly, very attentive plus the salon is very clean and spacious. It feels like home every time coming here, Selina is very sweet and always check on my needs during waiting! You won’t regret getting the haircut here, is worth the price and wait.
