I then saw it on Groupon so quickly took advantage of the great offer. The holidays were approaching, + of course Doris was pretty busy. I was anxious to get an appt as I’m flying out for a wedding in 4 days. Doris went above + beyond to accommodate, landing an appt for me on New Year’s Eve. The salon was clean, super cute, the decor is gorgeous + the music was fab. And, I was met with New Year’s Celebration red wine! Yas please! The end result is a perfect blonde, it’s exactly what I wanted, + I’m so happy. Groupon or no Groupon, I’m so thrilled I found Doris (who happens to also be the most sweetest gal on the LES), + I’m now a committed ISalon chick. I found my place. Thanks Doris!! I 100% urge you – especially all of you blondes – GO SEE DORIS! I recently moved to the area + had walked past ISalon a few times. I then saw it on Groupon so quickly took advantage of the great offer. The holidays were approaching, + of course Doris was pretty busy. When I say this was the best haircut of my life I am not joking. I went for a cut and partial highlights with Doris and she worked some magic on my shaggy dry hair. She was constantly checking with me to see if the cut and color was to my liking and was fully willing to re-tone and tune up some highlights to my liking. So welcoming and personable, I could not love a salon more.

I had a wonderful experience this week at I Salon!!! I was very unhappy with my previous highlights, and Doris was able to make me a golden blond again!!! She is so sweet and a great colorist!!! I will be returning next month to have her do my cut – I’m sure she’s a great stylist, too!!! Definitely a great place to go for highlights!!!!

I would give zero stars if I could. The lady working there is incredibly rude and just wants your money. If you are not a regular customer there, be prepared to wait several hours because she gives the regular customers priority. Even if you already pre-paid everything, she will try to up-charge you and offend you in order to get more money. She hates Groupon deals and will try to sell you everything additional as well as insult you, in order to buy additional services. She does not even comb or blow dry your hair. Do not go there. Lastly, she is not good at doing highlights at all. Worst service ever!

Extremely bad customor service. The lady working there is very rude and disrespectful. Appointment at 5pm, we stayed for 4 hours, she squezed people inbetween us. You preepay for highlights and a cut, she doesen’t even comb the hair and tries to bully you into buying additional services, if you decline seh insults you. Hair coloring, Haircut

I was a walk in today and Doris is so delightful and she has a good aura in the salon! I was lucky to get a fantastic haircut for my frizzy hair. She took her time, listened to what I wanted, and explained what she will do every step. She is a fun person to chat with. I will definitely be back…

The reviews are true, Doris is great! The salon is clean, and obviously following CDC guidelines surrounding COVID-19, and Doris really knows what to do with your hair. I walked out with a great haircut and super soft healthy hair. Also, and this was the biggest game changer for me that will 100% make me come back, the hair washing situation was the most comfortable thing ever! I don’t know about you but I always get the worst neck and back pain trying to hold my head up from the crushing edges of the sink. But this was the first time I was actually comfortable. Doris has this amazing setup where the chair reclines all the way back and lays your neck perfectly across a neck pillow. No neck pain, no back pain, and no water on your face!
