I Do Pretty has been in existence for years as a traveling beauty team, but didn’t have a brick-and-mortar salon until 2020. Our salon, located in Ankeny, Iowa, is a space we’re very proud of. It’s spacious and inviting whether you’re popping in alone for a haircut or bringing your girl gang with you to get ready for your wedding! We also still frequently travel to wherever your wedding or event takes us! We currently offer services in the areas of hair care, skin care, makeup, brow and lash services, waxing, and massage.

They were accommodating to everyone’s requests and worked very efficiently while still making sure everything was done well. Jenna was great and was good at keeping the conversation going while getting lowlights in my hair. She offered me a glass of wine and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. I am a bit disappointed with the outcome of my hair though, the color was exactly what I wanted, but I only sat with it on my head for maybe 10 minutes then toner for another 10.

Allyson and her team are simply amazing!! Allyson did all of our makeup for my wedding on 9-6-20, and Chelsey did all of my girls’ hair! All of the makeup and hair turned out absolutely amazing, and best of all, even with the 90+ degrees and windy weather, the makeup lasted all day long. Airbrush is the way to go!
