Friday I got a piercing called the Ashley. I have pretty big lips but he put in too small of a piercing. 2 days later I’m stuck with the choice of taking it out or going and buying a bigger piercing. My lip swelled so much that both sides of the piercing are imbedded into my lip. I’ve taken ibprohen to help with the swelling and even use ice, whatever you name it I’ve done it. My friend also got one at the same time but he gave her the larger piercing but she’s already taken it out because she couldn’t even eat. I wouldn’t recommend going here. I don’t even think he switched out gloves between us. I’m going to go back to Defiant Buddha. They’ve never failed me with a piercing.

Great artist but if you let Chris into your personal life he will cause drama for you and anyone you live with, just for kicks and giggles. Definitely buy the tattoo and get out of there don’t tell him any personal information. The dude is too bored to worry about what he has going on in his life so he has to weave himself into his customers lives.

Chris has been my go to artist for the last five years. Any one who asks me I send his way. I’ve never had an issue with healing and they always come out amazing and still look great years later. He’s a true friend and has been for many years. I will never go anywhere else for my work. A few months back I even had his apprentice do a small single stem Rose for me. Sage did excellent work, her hand was steady and line work was beautiful. She’s knowledgeable about her field even in these ever changing times and fun to laugh with. Chris and sage are truly great and if you feel that you had a bad experience here well than you either haven’t been to other shops in town where you are treated like a paycheck and at ID you’re treated like a friend OR it’s your first tattoo and frankly no one cares about your noob comments. This shop is very clean and inviting. The artists at this shop are very nice and super easy to work with. They were able to get me in the same day I called and were very understanding of what I wanted done. I had lettering done on my wrist by Luke and he did a fabulous job! I am very pleased with his work and how well he explained the entire process-both during and the after care of the tattoo. He was so professional and very friendly and I really enjoyed talking to him while he worked. This was definitely one of the best tattoo experiences that I have had!
