My cousin recommended me to come to this salon and book with Michaiah for a silk press! She was super knowledgeable about hair… as someone who is natural , I’m always concerned how stylist treat our hair. She gave me a lot of recommendations to ensure my hair can stay healthy and moisturized. She did an awesome trim and silk press. I plan on seeing her monthly to help aide in growing my hair and keeping it healthy … as far as the environment, friendly and inviting. I haven’t felt that comfortable in a shop for awhile. I highly recommend booking here.

I went to this salon today and it was by far the best experience I have ever had at any salon. The women here are truly just the kindest genuine people. Even the other clients were just so nice. I got my hair done by Michaiah who I found on TikTok before the appt. She did an absolutely amazing job and I was specifically excited for the steam treatment I saw her do on her page. She explained to me everything she was doing. While I was there I got the pleasure to meet the amazing owner and woman of God Tikeisha. The women who work here are just so incredibly blessed and amazing to be around. You truly could get your hair done anywhere, but to be around people who truly care not just about your hair but you are rare. If you’re looking for an amazing salon as well as black-owned please go here!

I was referred to this shop by a friend of a friend and been there two times. The shop is decent and staff is friendly, however the owner was not very engaging. I loved my hair and stylist Mai. Now flash foward to my scheduled third visit. I left work 10 minutes early to make cthe 40 minute drive through rush hour. Today I had nol choice but to bring my well mannered 11 year old son. Unbeknownst to me the salon has a policy of no kids. Now as I mentioned I’m new and never knew about this policy, although they said it’s posted on the door. In my haste I never ever saw the sign, it’s not eye level and it’s not anywhere displayed in the shop nor online when you book an appointment. Sadly, when I entered the shop the owner who didn’t even look my way or speak to me told her staff and my stylist my son could not be there. I am all about respecting rules and if I’d known I would have made arrangements. The owner was so lacking empathy and could have used discretion if she valued me as a customer. However she chose to ignore me and turn me away without even trying to understand my plight. I’m a struggling black woman, barely making ends meet and had a job interview scheduled for the next day. Prior to me coming I had an awful fight with my son’s dad . In addition, I had enough money in my pocket to pay for my hair and feed my son. The owner never asked, didn’t care and dismissed me so quickly, without even hearing me out. I even asked if I could have someone pick.him.up. I’m all for supporting black businesses but my people we have to love, support and build each other up. The owner, a black woman, was once me or knew someone like me just trying to be better. Also, my son cried thinking he was the cause. It’s truly sad. I will never use this business again and will let others know about this as well.
