I decided to come here a few years ago based on the good reviews and I have never once regretted that. Michelle always does an amazing job and is incredibly personable. I’ve recommended a friend to this salon and they now see an entirely different stylist regularly so you know the entire staff is great as well!! I will always recommend Hypnotik to anyone who is looking for a great salon!

I am debating writing this as I never write reviews, but this was really frustrating – especially since I am a first time customer and already waited a few weeks for this appointment in order to make sure they could do everything I wanted. I am writing this more as a “organizationally this was not okay to do” than a comment on their ability to do hair. This was supposed to be my first time with them and I was a bit nervous since I have been going to the same hair salon for 15 years. 40 mins before my afternoon appointment I got a text letting me know the stylist was out and they needed to cancel my appointment. I completely understand someone being ill and needing to reschedule – of course! unavoidable and I don’t want to be sick myself anyways – however, it would have been better to text or inform me in the morning rather than right before (the stylist would have been sick earlier in the day too, no?). Also, the next appointment they could offer me was another two weeks away….salons book up fast and far in advance so generally when making appointments I get that, but I feel like there should be a little trying to get someone in as soon as possible to do my hair or seeing if a stylist was willing to squeeze me in in any capacity? Any stylist or anyone since it was my first time and there wasn’t a specific one requested. Just not a great first impression and forcing me to find another salon as my hair is now an emergency.

This was my first salon visit since moving to Texas. I booked an appointment at Hypnotik after reading online reviews, and I am SO HAPPY with that decision! Tori was my colorist/stylist and she pulled off exactly what I asked for – a balayage into an icy blonde. Before, my hair was much warmer in tone and the color was uneven, and now I’m in love with it! I’ll absolutely be back.
