Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueWent in yesterday to get a full weave and cut. It was my first time coming here. It’s a clean, beautiful salon and the employees seem very friendly. Unfortunately, the stylist that I got didn’t perform satisfactory work. She stated that she had 30 years experience, yet my foils bled, creating a brassy mess on top and spots throughout. She tried to correct it, but it’s still very noticeable. I am a hairstylist myself, so even though I wasn’t happy with that aspect, I was willing to look past it, knowing that I could go home and fix it with a simple shadow-root or something. Upon coming home and inspecting the rest of my hair, I noticed that there was major breakage at the crown–pieces ranging from 3” to 1/2” long. She charged me $175, and I paid her $200. Not to mention, the whole process took about 5 hours. I went in the next day to talk to her about it and let her know I was not happy. She was argumentative and did not take accountability for her mistakes. She tried to say that it was because she didn’t know my hair history, although I was very honest with her from the get-go. The section that broke off was very healthy, she just used a high-volume peroxide, left it in too long AND applied heat. She ended up refunding me $50. I didn’t expect a full refund, seeing as how she did a lot of work, but even $125 + a tip is not worth the quality of work that I received. I’m sure there are great stylists it this salon, but I will never go back to Quirina Wuence, nor would I recommend her to anybody looking to get a color service done.Went in yesterday to get a full weave and cut. Went in yesterday to get a full weave and cut. It was my first time coming here. It’s a clean, beautiful salon and the employees seem very friendly. I was lost since GPS takes you to another location I called the salon no one answered I then reached out to candance instead of giving me any direction she told me she was still busy I would have to wait. Finally found the place and no one was at the front desk. I finally caught someone attention after an hour of waiting to see how much longer until Candace would be free no one knew who she was but I guess they finally found her.
