Flowing Rivers (guileful spirit)
Waited for over an hour and half to be seen. When I was finally called back, I didn’t even get seen by the doctor. A nurse practitioner saw me instead for about 2 minutes. She looked at the place on my skin for less than 5 seconds and told me all was good and it was harmless despite me saying it was causing pain. After that, she wouldn’t even looked at me as she went directly to the computer and told me I could leave and to call if I want to make another appointment. Waste of time and money coming here.

I understand people have bad experiences at the doctors office… But it seems like people who have good experiences just aren’t leaving reviews. I had no issues here. Destiny was awesome and very knowledgeable about my issue. She even cut a mole off in 5 minutes in addition to the other issue I had.

I don’t understand the low rating for Dr. Touma. I went to another dermatologist 4 years ago. He had me take my shirt off. He walked around me once & pointed out a mole that might be an issue. Dr. Touma had me strip to my underwear. She was looking everywhere. She was beyond thorough with me. She found a couple of places behind my ear that might be an issue. That was not a place I’d even thought of as being a concern. I will go back to her again.

I had the best experience with Dr. Touma and her staff! I have not seen a dermatologist since moving from South Carolina and I felt completely at home! The office is beautiful. My nurse took so much time with me. She explained all about the different options and prices available to me. Everyone was just amazing.

I absolutely would not suggest going to Dr Touma. Although the office is clean and the decor is professional, it reminded me of a car sales show room. The entire place is plastered with ads for cosmetic procedures. Even the office area had little signs reminding the staff of ” It’s Filler Friday”. I went to Dr Touma for a medical condition. She ordered no tests and gave me the same treatment options that I got from a two minute google search. I definitely got the impression that my medical issue was taking up her valuable time when there was money to be made on “filler Friday”. If you need to see a doctor about a medical issue do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. If you are looking for a two for one special on tightening that pesky loose skin under your arms then I am sure she would be happy to help you.

This would probably be a great place to have some cosmetic work done, but if you’re looking for some help with acne, allergic reaction, or a spot that won’t heal-definitely go elsewhere. I went there multiple times for the same issue & each time they took a photo & said let’s wait and see. I never received a diagnosis or anything to help with the issue. It was very frustrating & a more expensive co-pay than I’ve ever had anywhere.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Touma for 5 years now due to a previous diagnosis of melanoma. I get a skin check every 6 months. I’ve only had positive experiences with every visit. She is professional but also personable and very caring. Wont go anywhere else.

I see Dr. Bargar and on the first visit she started treatment and she seemed like she actually cared and wanted to help. My second visit was a follow up and everything was and is going amazing and she addressed any questions I had. She said not to come back unless I need Them and that is great for me because I have A copay each time. I have Went to another dermatologist in Charleston that was recommended and I was Not very impressed. I so Recommend Huntington dermatology though!
