To receive a massage from Julia is truly something special. She has excellent technique and great energy. The studio is a beautiful space, carefully prepared to feel welcoming and soothing. The massage table is pre-warmed to the perfect degree, and music plays gently in the background. After checking in about priority areas or issues for the massage session, Julia starts by loosening up your entire body. Once you are relaxed, she hones in on the focus areas identified earlier. I find the music is a therapeutic element during deep tissue work, creating a kind of sonic flow to accompany the physical flow of the massage and move tension along. I always find myself feeling deeply relaxed at the end of a session, as well as more at home in my body in the days that follow. I am grateful to know about Humboldt Bay Massage.

She truly takes the time to listen, focus on problem areas + even breakdown long-term care plans custom to your specific needs. Her space is warm, inviting, relaxing + allows for the ultimate relaxation. Make sure you book in advance because she is extremely sought after, but I swear on everything I hold dear that the zen experience is worth any wait-time she may have.
