I want to start this review by saying this place is so charming and everyone here is so friendly. But Kelly literally saved my hair. I went to her back in April with extremely damaged hair from tape in extensions. The sewn in extensions plus her technique are life changing for anyone that is interested in extensions. I have tried clip in, bond, and tape in, all of them were either uncomfortable or did some serious wear and tear on my already fragile hair. My hair is super fine and thin and has suffered through some pretty extreme hair loss situations. Despite my hair being less than ideal these extensions work perfectly, the kind of weft she uses is super thin and light weight, and amazing quality. People are shocked when I tell them I have extensions in. Kelly’s technique also allows me to feel like I have nothing in my hair. I also enjoy my appointments with her because she is super sweet and funny! I am super grateful for finding this place. 10/10 recommended!

Finding a good colorist is not easy. It’s a trial-and-error process as we all know. I don’t know if you’re like me, but once I find a colorist that I like I stay with them “til death do us part” . Even moving to another city isn’t enough for me to break ties. When I moved to Baltimore 3 years ago from DC, I continued to commute to DC to go to my colorist. After more than several commutes, I looked for and found a colorist closer to home. Though I went to that colorist twice, I still wasn’t thrilled. So back to DC I went. Three weeks ago I decided to look in Baltimore again. During a local google search, I came across Hues on Hanover. After speaking with Kelly, the owner, I booked an appointment with Andrea to treat my gray hair that I’ve been coloring blonde with lowlights for many years; I know this requires an experienced colorist. I am delighted to report that Andrea is amazing and talented, knows exactly what colors to blend to make magic, and is an incredible person in addition to that. Though I did not take before pictures, here are a few after pictures 2 weeks later. I am thrilled with the results! If you are looking for a good colorist, I highly recommend that you put your trust in the hair professionals at Hues on Hanover. ❤

Kelly has been so super helpful to me the last week and a half. I got NBR extension method by someone else about two and a half weeks ago and it was quite uncomfortable after the install that I paid $2k for. Iv never had extensions, I thought I did my homework but I should have gotten more consults than I did through two stylists. After the initial discomfort wore off I had one area under a bead that was very uncomfortable, I went to Kelly to see what she thought and she adjusted it for me and I immediately felt relief, it only took her a second. Then over this last week or so I felt another two beaded areas that were very painful, like one hair being pulled at constant tension, I Instagram messaged Kelly today she got back to me immediately and said I could come in tonight, she fixed/loosened other two beads, with immediate relief too. I already have scheduled myself with her for my two month move up as I should have gone with her in the first place. She makes me feel very comfortable and is very efficient. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your help Kelly! I can’t wait for the extensions to be redone using your method. Mind you, I have not paid Kelly a cent yet (I don’t think, maybe $10 for consult of second opinion after my install by someone else).
