Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI live in Los Angeles, but had to come to Michigan on short notice for some family matters. I was in desperate need of a simple haircut and my mom connected me with Maddie at Hue. I was pretty blown away by the experience.I was greeted promptly by name even though I had never been in Hue before. I was offered any beverage of my choice. They thoroughly washed my hair and gave me a bit of a scalp massage.After I was prepped for the cut, Maddie asked me what I wanted. I described the weirdness of my hair that I’ve been living with all my life. She totally understood and walked through a few options ranging from [I’ll do exactly what you want] to [let’s fix your part because you probably experience these various styling and volume difficulties].We talked about the options and cleaned up my part a little bit because it would take about 4-6 months to grow back if I didn’t like the change. This was a great decision.She then walked me through how to style my hair. She taught me how to properly use a round brush and a hair dryer. And helped me understand how I had been applying product to my hair was fine, but gave me a couple of tips on how to make it salon quality.By the end I feel like I got a full on consultation and master class in men’s hair and styling. I live in Los Angeles, but had to come to Michigan on short notice for some family matters. I was in desperate need of a simple haircut and my mom connected me with Maddie at Hue. I was pretty blown away by the experience.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityThis has to be one of the nicest salons I’ve been to! From the way it’s set up, to the amazing customer service. Not only was my stylist Kaylee a sweetheart, but the other staff was super friendly as well. Kaylee helped me go from my terrible red box dye hair to a beautiful aqua color. My hair still feels healthy too! Some of the color started to fall out after a couple days, but Kaylee was super sweet and managed to squeeze me in to fix it without any hassle.
