My old barber moved and I was left without anyone I could trust with my hair.All my life, it’s been an anxiety riddled experience getting a haircut. I have two cowlicks at the back of my head, which make cutting my hair evenly somewhat difficult. I saw the great reviews regarding HQ Barbershop and decided to give them a shot a couple of weeks ago.I walked in and the first thing I noticed was how welcoming the vibe was from the shop alone. It was also modern and clean. Ancury, one of the barbers at the shop, took me into his chair. From the moment he started to cut my hair, I felt relaxed, noticing how well he worked with the clippers to start with. Mind you, I kept my eyes closed most of the time just to settle my anxiety.Then he started to scissor cut the top. The way he moved with those scissors through my hair like a hot knife through butter, there was no denying that he’s been doing this for a while now and has been mastering his craft ever since.He was quick but thorough, going back and forth from the clippers to the scissors to make sure it was just right. When he was finished cutting my hair, in under 30 minutes, mind you, it was pure perfection.I did not hesitate to ask for his card because I will most definitely be booking an appointment to see him again! My son has been getting his hair cut at the same barber since he was little, but she recently moved to GA. I was nervous to take him anywhere else, but stopped into HQ. Aneury did an AMAZING job. He was funny and patient, and managed to turn a mop head into a boys haircut for a decent price and in a decent amount of time. We will be back!!

I originally was getting my hair cut at Platinum Barber’s, but my most recent customer experience with them wasn’t so great (please see Platinum Barbers for full review). But here at HQ Barbershop I’ve had such an amazing customer experience. The staff is very kind and friendly and I’ve enjoyed getting my hair cut here.

These guys do an excellent job! I’ve been getting business cuts ever since they opened, and I’d recommend them to anyone. Chain barbershops don’t focus on detail like these guys do; they do razor work around the edges, ears and eyebrows, and really take their time making you look good. They obviously take a lot more pride in their work than any chain barbershop I’ve ever been to. I’d recommend this place to anyone!
