LOVE everything about The House of Hair! Every experience I’ve had has been phenomenal & pleasurable from a simple hair cut to coloring and glazing. Jackie makes you feel welcome & invited to her bright, clean & upbeat salon, her employees treat you like they’ve known you forever but most of all, they are all professional & know their stuff! House of Hair has been my go to since they’ve been open. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Jackie, the owner since she begin her work in the field and if you’re looking for the best, look no further. Everyone at house of hair is nothing but professional, skilled and find the fun in the work that they do. Everyone has such unique talents that regardless of your hair texture or type someone will be able to work with you! I could not recommend this salon more.

I have been going to the Yorktown house if hair owned by Jackie Arlia for several years. Jackie and her entire staff have always been friendly, listens to whatever I have asked for and wanted for and has ALWAYS delivered! There isn’t one person on her staff that I wouldn’t go to. I’m addition to myself, my daughter goes there for haircuts and highlights and I started bringing my teenage son for haircuts as well. In addition to Jackie being an amazing hair stylist and colorist she is an exceptional business women. I love going to House of Hair and I would recommend the salon and every stylist working there to anyone!

House of Hair is not only beautiful aesthetically — the women who work there are beautiful and amazing! I have been going for years and I look forward to every appointment. Haircuts, color, blowouts, but most recently… I got hair extensions! They were sewn in quickly, looked incredible, and lasted nearly a month. I recommend anyone looking who is for a new salon, don’t walk – run to House of Hair!!!

If I could give this place zero stars I would! When you first go in it looks amazing and the girls are sweet but the girl I schedule with was a complete disaster. I should’ve known better when I saw all the reviews raving about the owner Jackie and not the others. I made an appointment for my mother and I and I really wanted to love this place since we were looking to continue going if we loved it. First she did my face-framing highlights and while I was processing she did my mothers haircut and blowout and it was terrible. I then finished processing and she was all over the place when she did my toner the front did not come out the same color and the face framing by my bangs look terrible I told her and she said to come back in 5 days. Not only that but she also didn’t even blow dry my hair properly- as I was feeling my hair it was soaked!! How do you expect anyone to go out like that when they are paying for a service?!? The owner might be wonderful and seems like she knows what she’s doing but my advice to her is to make sure her stylists know as much as she does. This was one of my worst hair salon experiences. I won’t be go there again that’s for sure!!!

I have been coming to House of hair since it opened. Everyone is always so nice and friendly. The premises are always clean and they offer refreshments. I always get compliments of my hair – I’ve reccomended all my friends to come get their hair done here. I’ve used them for wedding guest hair styles as well. Jacqueline is the absolute GOAT. I’ve been her client for almost 10 years !

It’s more than just going for a haircut or color here, it’s an overall pampering experience. The staff truly care about your hair and made me feel so comfortable and at ease with the style. I feel I was listened to and Jaqueline took such care and consideration to me throughout. I even enjoyed a relaxing head massage during the hair wash from one of the Girls! It is beautifully presented and the standard of hygiene is excellent. Jaqueline, the owner works extremely hard to make sure her customers have a great experience at the salon. Her skills as a Hairstylist and her work ethic are a source of inspiration to her staff who are privileged to be working at her salon. I was blown away by the cut, style and color which perfectly matched the vision I had in my head. I’m thrilled with it and couldn’t be more grateful for the way The staff listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted (and exceeded my expectations!) They go out of their way to accommodate you, and not to mention the place itself it gleaming I am absolutely delighted and look forward to my next visit to a very special salon!Thank you so so much!!
