Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityMy review isn’t for House of Glam per say but specifically for the lash tech that runs her business Elegant Minks there. I came across her website and saw that she had an opening the next day which was Friday, July 16th so I made an appointment for 1pm. Per the instructions on her website, I paid my $20 deposit and I texted the number on the website to confirm my appointment. It wasn’t until an hour later that I realized my text never went through so I tried texting it again with no luck. I tried calling and it went straight to voicemail. So I figured maybe she had a new number and she sees that I booked the appointment on her side. I got to House of Glam around 12:45 and there was no one inside. I saw a young lady go inside so around 12:55 I went and knocked on the door and after a couple of minutes a guy opens the door and the girl asks me if I have an appointment with Elegant Minks. I said yes, she asked me what time and I said 1 o’clock. So she says “oh I’m about to leave so you have to wait in your car”. That was fine by me but at this point it’s 12:58 and the lash tech still wasn’t there. She told me she’s usually never late to her appointments so I said okay and went back to my car. I waited until 1:10 tried texting and calling the number from her website and once again it went straight to voicemail and the texts didn’t go through. So I called the number on the door and asked the girl if the lash tech had a new number because it wasn’t working for me, she said I’ll text you her number but I never got a text from her. After waiting until 1:20 I assumed she wasn’t coming so I left. I tried reaching out to her on Facebook, I tried emailing the email address on her website and still no response. I lost my deposit money and my appointment through no fault of my own. It was VERY unprofessional and she still has yet to respond to any of my attempts to contact her. I’m not sure if she blocked my number or something when I made the appointment but none of my messages are going through (I have an iPhone) and all of my calls are going straight to voicemail without any rings. It’s sucks because I really liked her work from what I’ve seen but I can’t support someone that runs their business like that.
