Nice barber shop with several barbers all of which cut hair well. All styles and all ethnicities. Cuts nowadays are ( in my opinion are expensive). Especially if you have kids. Depending on ur barber, cuts can be as high as $30+. Times that with 2 or 3 kids and tip well that’s a lot of bucks. Pre pandemic prices were more reasonable. Many of the barbers use apps. Either The Cut or booksy. Great apps as some of the barbers have pics of their cuts. I would recommend this place.

My barber Matthew gives great, clean cuts. The front of my hair is thin and he cut and shape it up to a point where it doesnt look so thin. No scars on my face from him cutting to hard (like others barbers I been to have done). I also have dreads with a taper around my head. Great cut everytime!

Great environment -as most woman are uncomfortable in barbershops, this one doesn’t stare you down like your fresh steak on a plate. I would highly recommend Ezell or Saint! Those guys are great and whenever I’m in town definitely my go to shop! Fair prices, for an appointment there is an additional $10 charge but your guaranteed your seat from the second you walk in! This is definitely a great barbershop!

Critical: ProfessionalismOnly 2-3 people in the whole shop were wearing masks! I understand that customers can’t wear their mask the entire time, but partial mask wearing wasn’t’ encouraged either. Almost none of the barbers wore masks and I don’t understand why. Unnecessary risk and contact. My husband wanted to support a black owned business so he chose to attend this barber shop. He made an appointment and the barber confirmed. When he arrived, the barber, Ezell wasn’t there. house of blades opened a few weeks ago in my neighborhood. One afternoon I decided to try them out. The hours on the door said 10:am -7pm . I got there at 4:30pm …. door closed , lights off. I said to myself , ok maybe they didn’t have alot of business today and decided to close early. Therefore i decided to go get my nails done. On my way back I noticed that the lights were on and i was so excited, my tapered cut was in bad shape. I went in and there were two barbers cutting. One greeted me and the other could care less to even acknowledge my presence. Both had clients but the one that greeted me asked what i wanted done and that he would take me after he was done with his client. I sat for about 10 mins or so when I noticed that the second barber had finished with his client… i then asked him if he can cut my hair since he was finished and he said no he had other appointments booked for the day. No problem. 5 mins later he left the shop and was outside standing . 10 mins passed 20 mins passed..1/ 2hr later , his client showed up and asked where he was…he was in the bar next door!!!! The client went over to get him and he said he would be over shortly. I think he arrived about 15mins later. While i complement the great customer service from the barber that cut my hair , the unprofessionalism and poor customer service of the second barber tainted my experience and i would never step a foot in house of blades again. I know what great customer service is and i reward it!!!!!..i live in nj and travel to Delaware every 3 wks to cut my hair … while my barber only charges me $10 i pay him $40 because his service is A1 (world class) and I happily pay It.

beware of their pricing, you will be ridiculed with different hairstyles pricing. Have you heard of even and uneven haircut? They charge differently by using different number of the clipper. They also include tips for themselves I believe with the ridiculous pricing.
