I went to this shop about three or more years ago. The attitude of the people there is a little tense. I am appalled by the response of the owner. She appears to be antagonizing the reviewers. Nobody is always right. My hair turned out great. I was pleased. There was not a lot of kindness there, but I don’t mind that. I don’t like to talk while at a shop full of people I don’t know. I read the reviews because I was coming back to Cleveland for a month or two, but the response from the owner is a little unsettling. Mrs. Tarsha your stylist did my hair to a perfection. Your unprofessionalism on Google is awful. I will find another shop. Best of luck to you!

OMG! I was scared at first because I haven’t been to a salon in decades but there was no need to fear! As soon as I got inside everything was streamlined and organized! Temperature check, then wash my hands and told exactly what to do afterwards. The owner, who was the Stylist who did my hair, was very personable and professional! She was fast and thorough!!! My hair looks great! I can tell from looking at the work of the other Stylists, that everyone here are good at what they do. The atmosphere was GOOD. Really. NOTHING RATCHET! Intelligent conversation and REAL BLACK FOLKS I’m VERY pleased and am so glad to have found a great Stylist and great place to get my hair done ☺️

I traveled from Akron to House of Beautiful Locs for a 2 day loc workshop. During the workshop Tarsha taught us the proper technique and products to use for servicing clients. Her models were very patient and understanding. Her sister/receptionist Sonja was a pleasure. I enjoyed my time and learning experience there. Tarsha was patient, honest, humble and professional. She shared the highs and lows of her business journey. Most people only want you to know about the success. She bared it all. I appreciate Tarsha for taking the time out of her busy schedule to teach and give hope and a business blueprint to upcoming stylist that want and need this opportunity! I had such a great time with the other ladies that was there to learn. Everything was clean and thoroughly done. I never felt rushed, every question I had was answered. If you are looking to learn the proper way to do locs, I encourage you to take this workshop. I truly thank you for a wonderful experience Tarsha!

Had been struggling to find someone to crochet my new dreads since I had them done when I walked into House. Kalli was literally the sweetest person from start to finish. She gave me honest recommendations and insight into how to better take care of them an we laughed and talked every minute. Everyone there are so sweet and friendly and I look forward to going again. I was greeted as a friend an I felt like one from start to finish. If you want quality work look no further. These are some of the nicest people and they take great pride in their work.
