We made the journey to soak in the public hot springs and it was worth it.

If quiet and hot tubs are appealing then this is first rate. Weekends tend to be noisier with the arrival of ATV ‘s to ride the dunes. Take the route from Bowie in for your smoothest drive. Garbage collection and washrooms are available.

Went here a week ago it was great. Two different hot springs/tubs. Campground has bathrooms. I was the only person in the hot tubs. Water was pretty dang hot

We love camping here! Wish the tubs stayed full during the evening though, it’d be a nice relaxation after a full day of riding.

Tough to drive into but patience is rewarded. This is really out there. No noise or man-made lights at night. Weekends get a lot of zoomers. Camphost says she counted 92 leaving after Thanksgiving. Soft sand, be aware.

Cool place if you’re partying all night and driving ATVs at midnight, we had a hard time sleeping and the hot springs were packed. We went mid November.

The road to the Campground was sketchy with lots of bumps, however we saw some construction going on the road as if they were fixing some parts.

This is going to the beach but without the ocean. No crazy drives but loads of dune buggy fun!

Nice location for playing outside. Very sandy so 4 wheel drive is recommended if going off the main ‘road’ very far. The natural hot springs are pumped into two hot tubs that continually drain. If the sun isn’t shining, the pools won’t fill. They drain nightly and refresh in the morning. There is a lot of dispersed camping all around here.

I’ve been to a Johnson Valley in California and this place has some good off roading. You won’t see any big hills but fun enough to drive around for a couple of days. Night driving was also fun because it was challenging, it’s dark and lots of bushes.
