Critical: Professionalism, QualityHave been to hot tips on numerous other occasions, however have never had Sam as my nail tech. Well I did today and it was a terrible experience. Had very very little experience with acrylic and was just piling it on my nail. The nails were so thick and bumpy.. absolutely terrible! The design is also absolutely terrible but I care less about that because not everyone is an artist. Had to call another nail salon to get them fixed as best as she could with what Sam did to them. Not to mention it is 24 hours later and multiple nails are bleeding, sore or missing parts of my nail bed! I have very wide nail beds and when the tip did not fit properly, she just thought she could drill my nail bed off to make it look like it fit. Such a terrible experience and paid $100 for this and a pedi!!! i saw all of the photos so i was excited to go, the place was clean and gorgeous and everyone was super sweet! but i wasn’t told that getting french tips added 10 dollars to the total until the end. i’m not too excited about how they came out since my thumbs are shorter then the rest of the nails and the color came out a bit different then it showed on the sample but i don’t really mind. it took two hours for my nails to get done which i’m not really complaining about, but most of it was the pain of the drill burning my nails and my cuticles bleeding and being irritated. i couldn’t really talk much about what i wanted with my nail tech since she couldn’t speak english, but another nail tech helped out to translate 🙂 i feel like i would come back but just maybe with a different nail tech. i would just have liked to know about the extra charges beforehand and maybe someone a tad bit more gentle with the cuticles but overall a plea sent experience and gorgeous place.

Awesome !!I have been going to Hot Tips for a few years. I love my nails every time I leave there. The girls know how to do your nails just right and kill it with all the designs.
