My existing hairstylist had retired. My partner has had Lisa cut his hair for over 35 years. So I trusted his opinion to have Lisa cut, style and highlight my hair. Made an appointment with Lisa for the highlight because I had colored my hair dark. I know it was impossible on the first try but I was hoping for the best. Throughout the process, she was very detailed about what she was doing to my hair and she really took her time on it. Within three hour later as you can see, it turned out amazing and I am very happy .

I recently switched hairstylist…. I was bored, Barbie introduced me to the new hair trend “hair painting” which was supposed to make the color look more natural and last longer. I am a blonde and maintenance is not my favorite so I was was all in for a new technique. I was THRILLED, I have been able to stretch my appointments longer than I ever have. Hot locks is warm and welcoming, the owner is always there which is nice, and I wouldn’t leave my stylist for anyone!

DO NOT BUY A GROUPON FROM BRITNI!!!!! See my yelp review- my name on there is Natalie. When I arrived for my appointment ON TIME she was just starting foils on another client. I’m a teacher, I don’t have a lot of time or money. I waited 20 minutes and was so exhausted from teaching all day and driving to the salon from riverside county that I went home. 36 minutes after my appointment time she texted me that she’s ready for me. She would have left me waiting for 40 minutes! Also, she refused to refund my groupon. I’m out $55 and I have nothing to show for it but a wasted drive and wasted time

Hot Locks is so festive this holiday season. It is always a pleasure to go in and see my stylist, Barbie! I am always warmly greeted by the staff and laugh with all the ladies throughout my hair transformation. First time was great! 2nd time not so great. My hair was darkened more then I wanted and when I asked for another appt so she could lighten it, I’m told to wait a week for it to fade. I didn’t pay $150 with a $20 tip extra for color that supposed to fade in a week so that I can get the color I really wanted. Not happy with my color at all :((
