Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis place is a joke! I had the worst experience EVER at this salon! I made an appointment with Yamilka via text for a cut and color. She didn’t ask what color so when I arrived at the salon, she didn’t have the color I originally wanted so I chose a different look. I loved my hair when she finished but after just 3 washings, the color was GONE! I messaged her and she then told me she made the “professional decision” not to use permanent color in my hair. I paid $300 for color that washed out after 3 washings. She gave me excuse after excuse as to why she didn’t use permanent color but finally agreed to do the color again. When I returned, she asked me to sign a waiver of liability which told me she wasn’t confident in her abilities to make this right. This time, the color only lasted ONE WASHING and my roots turned orange! I again messaged her along with pictures of now 3 different colors at my roots (orange, gray, and blonde). I demanded a refund to which she replied that I had gotten what I paid for “a good job”. Unbelievably unprofessional! I now have to pay more $ to another stylist to fix this mess! I told her I planned to post reviews with photos on social media and she never replied. I’ve never experienced such unprofessional nonsense in my life! She clearly lacks the skills necessary to complete the job properly and refused to refund.
