This place is okay if you literally just want an electric razor with a guard on it run through your hair. They messed up my male roommates hair even though he held up a picture of exactly what he wanted. Also the only person who could cut female hair there has a broken hand and is still working. I recommend universal barber shop

They have hoses hooked up to the hair clippers, which was really nice. My haircut was good, but i went to ask for a line up and the lady didn’t know how to do it.. Hopefully she does now

When I’m in Hopewell this has been my go to place for years. This is a real barber shop, not a beauty shop. If you’re sportin a man bun go somewhere else. The staff are trained barbers and can shave a balloon with a cut throat straight razor. Do not let a beautician get near you with a straight razor! These folks also do not use those plastic guides that they use at Sport Clips, Great Clips and Hair Cuttery. They don’t need to because they have skills! I shave my dogs butt with one of those electric razors with a plastic guide. The late owner, Jim Hardin cut my hair since I was old enough to get a haircut and while his skills are hard to match the current staff does a great job as well. Highly recommend this establishment for a real haircut. You will leave looking sharp, clean and smelling like Clubman or Lucky Tiger. You will look and feel like a man and be so handsome and virile that you might accidentally impregnate your significant other by merely walking in the door when you arrive home. So be careful! Need I say more?
