My family and I came in for mani and pedis today 6/7/17. We will not return. I should have stuck with my $15 pedi service I get from Chicago Heights. Yes they are overpriced and the lady at booth 9 did a horrible job on my overlay. When I told her it looked sloppy she tried to tell me she gave me $5 off and I need a manicure. If I need a manicure. Why not mention that from the start?

Tracey is sweet & nice but sometimes can come across rude. The nail shop is not clean !!!! They do not clean the equipment after each use, and the staff is extremely unprofessional and not welcoming at all! This was THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD AT A NAIL SALON!!!! I saw the pictures of the marbled nail and the umbre nail on the Facebook page for Hong Kong Nails which is why I went there instead of the place I usually go to get my nails done. Before any service was performed I asked if they could do the umbre nail with the colors I wanted and they told me they could. Then I asked if they could do the marbled nail and was told that she would try it and if not she could do the umbre nail. Well, she could do neither one so another girl tried the umbre nail and it looked terrible. I ended up with the pink and yellow nails you see in the Nike shoe. I was willing to pay for the spa services I received which was 60 dollars but they wanted me to pay 85 for falsely advertising and not being able to perform the task I went there for. I told them I would pay the 60 but that wasn’t good enough so I walked out. They followed me out, took a picture of my license plate and me and tried to press charges. So I ended up having to pay the 85 dollars to avoid having a warrant out for my arrest. Please save your money and time. I got there in the 12 o’clock hour and didn’t get out of there until the 3 o’clock hour for nails I’m not satisfied with and still have to go somewhere else and pay again. SAVE YOUR MONEY! IT’S NOT WORTH IT!!!!!

Dont ignore reviews.This place is horrible do not go here ever since the old owners left the quality has gone way down. I got my nails done by the girl who sits by the door when I woke this morning my toe is completely aching and would not move so I look and there is cut on my foot I immediately put peroxide on it to prevent infection and will be going to the doctor to make sure it is okay because it is a pain I have never felt before. The old owners uses new tools that they took out of a brand new package for each client. These people have sanitation issues because they no longer do that. All I can say is this new girl sitting by the door better hope that my toe is okay.She had an attitude everytime I go in their and does little things like sinking her nails into you foot and hands making it seem like she is massaging you but she is not. She is intentionally hurting you and then she ask very smugly does this feel okay. You know it doesn’t feel okay so why would you do it. Please run for the hills and save your money. This place used to be at 4.0 stars not its almost in the 2s which shows the quality has really suffered after Kevin and Vicki left 🙁

I went on a Thursday, barely 12 hours later, breaking and chipping on thumb. Assumed it was a one off and intended to go back Saturday to get in fixed. On Saturday, saw left thumb chipped, but due to plans, I could not address the issue. Sunday another chipped nail, then Monday, another broken nail and chipped nail. So in 4 days I have had more broken and chipped nails than I have had in a year. Not only will I not return, I won’t bother seeking repairs. The only reason I’m giving this establishment a 2 and not a 1 is because the nail tech was good. However, I waited 30 minutes in water for my pedicure. Nobody ever came, no apology, not even an acknowledgement!! Not cool. I was not even offered a discount for my inconvenience. I was offered “sorry” and my bill. The cashier asked me if I wanted to tip my nail tech. My momma said if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. I just left. I will never recommend this place.
