Our Mokena stylists are dedicated to providing men and boys with great haircuts. Our man-friendly environment is just what men require, as is a haircut that leaves them looking and feeling terrific. Our history in the men’s and boys’ haircutting industry dates back to July 2003. The first thing you’ll notice when you step into one of our shops is that it doesn’t feel like a salon at all; instead, it has a garage-like vibe that’s cozy, relaxed, and downright rugged. Our waiting area and each cutting station have a television, so you can unwind and watch sports while getting your haircut. Every haircut includes a complimentary wash and scalp massage that will leave you feeling relaxed and itch-free. Stop on in! No appointment needed!

I had been using Honeycuts for several years, last time I made my appt. 3 days in advance. Arrived at the location, a large sign on the doors, appointments recommended. I walked in only to become a “walk-in”, have a seat sir, we’re a little behind today. She had just seated the client in front of me. I waited about 25 minutes but finally needed to leave for a meeting at work. The girls are nice, do a good job, what a shame the chain has such resource problems.

Alexis is the best. She has been cutting my 5 year old son’s hair along with mine for 6 months now and she is our hair stylist for life. She does our fades perfect everytime. She is really good with my son talks with him jokes with him and gets him to sit still ( I don’t know how she does that but she does). She is always on time and the place is always clean. In the summer we get shorter fades and in the winter we still have fades and have our hair longer on top she does a great job. My son wanted lines she did a perfect job.

So, I’m a well seasoned professional hair stylist myself but I didn’t tell my stylist that. I had grown my hair long just to try it out. My hair was awful – the kind of client I see walk into my salon and try to hide from. After going to 4 men’s barber shops in the area that were either closed, didn’t take credit cards, or were rude to me because they didn’t want to cut my long hair – I decided to try Honeycuts. Why not? I was able to get in quick, COURTNEY did an awesome job! And trust me, I’m VERY picky being a stylist myself. I LOVE my haircut. I had a very good experience – and Courtney will be cutting my hair from now on. 5 stars. *Remember to tip your stylist well – they work very hard.

I’ve been to most HoneyCuts over the past few years and all are consistent. Never had a bad haircut. Each person can take as long as they want so there is no rushing. This allows them to do thier best work. There are no rookies, all are pros at cutting hair. The hair wash is included in the price. The only con is you might wait 30 min if they are busy. With tip, about $30 which is well worth it especially if you want/need to look polished. No one is pushy on extra services or product.
