I have been going to this barber shop for over a year and getting my hair cut by Jack M. Today was the second time in the last year that he has cancelled on me within a 24 hour time period before my scheduled appointment. I spoke to the owner Justin and he said there is nothing they can do for me. David did cut my hair once before when Jack couldn’t hold his own appointment and for that I thank David and rationalize the two star review. Unfortunately I am out a baby sitter and another hair cut.

We have been going to Hone & Strop since it was just Justin Kelly himself cutting hair in the first chair. It’s always been about more than a haircut when you walk through those doors. A true family friendly environment, I have been going for 6 years, and now that it’s time for our first son to get a haircut, we know where we will be bringing him.

Met Jack outside of his barber shop, pretty chill guy, kept telling me to try his barber shop. I agreed, reluctantly. I got to the shop and could tell right away I was going to have a good experience, I was comfortable, professional setting, and Jack was ready. I got my cut and I loved it. Jack was great to talk to, easy going, sports banter back and fourth, and it felt “homey”. Met Jack outside of his barber shop, pretty chill guy, kept telling me to try his barber shop. I agreed, reluctantly. I got to the shop and could tell right away I was going to have a good experience, I was comfortable, professional setting, and Jack was ready. I got my cut and I loved it. I booked with Charles, easy online booking, owner was super friendly and have me info when I walked in. Place was clean and everyone is friendly. These are real craftspeople/artist, he listened to the way I wanted my hair and nailed it. I have been growing it for three years and was nervous but not anymore. You could tell immediate Charles knew what he was doing. Will be back

Hands down single best place to get a cut in the area. Prices are fair and I never leave disappointed. I’ve gotten a cut from 3 of their barbers and each one did an equally phenomenal job. The barber I go to the most, Eddie, even came in early on his day off to make up for having to reschedule due to legitimate personal things to attend to. He even offered to give me the cut for free, I declined and paid him anyway but it was a gesture you don’t see too often.
