Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI could have sworn I’d already left a review, but I guess not! I cannot say enough good. things about this salon and everyone who works there! I have had multiple services from Melanie now, from hair cuts, to highlights, to extensions, and even a wash/dry/style to get my hair prepped for my vow renewal. From the very first time I sat in Melanie’s chair, I felt IMMEDIATELY comfortable and like I was in good hands. (In fact, she had even given me some tips on how to improve the condition of my hair BEFORE my appointment.) Not only was she and her staff so friendly and welcoming and easy to feel comfortable around, the service was AMAZING. Also, I think she’s some kind of magician because she does my hair faster than any hairdresser ever has in the past yet gets the most amazing results. It’s kind of like getting “big city” quality but in a “small town” atmosphere. I love it. I was actually happy with my hairstylist before finding Hologram, but after an appointment got lost and my hair desperately needed care, I went to Melanie and I just couldn’t go back to anyone else after that. There was just something about how comfortable she made me feel, that made me realize I’d never felt that way before. She’s a very attentive hair stylist, really listens to you and wants to help you reach your hail goals. Which is another thing worth mentioning – Melanie has really worked WITH ME to explore different options for getting the look I want while maintaining hair health – which is how we came to decide to start using extensions to add more lightness to my hair without risking lightening my own hair too much, which would cause more damage. She made time to talk me through the options, and then (knowing that I had.a vow renewal coming up) went above and beyond to make time in her schedule to do my extensions before that – even though I really was okay waiting and knew I had expressed interest in extensions at the last minute. Literally, Melanie is a DREAM to work with, and every single person who works there who I have interacted with is so amazing and kind. They’ve also done my two daughters’ hair and really my youngest had a BLAST – they were so sweet and personable with her. I’ve probably raved long enough – but I can’t say enough good things. Hologram is the BEST! When I needed to find a stylist in Athens after my Atlanta stylist of 30+ years retired and moved away, I was at a party one night where I consciously noticed that all of the girls were sporting fabulous hair. I asked a friend who did hers and it turns out Melanie was responsible for all of the beautiful hair at the party. They all went to her! Sign me up! Soon after, I had my first session with Melanie: cut, color and shine (I don’t know what that was but I liked it!). Most importantly, I LOVED Melanie!
