I thought that the Work by Amy is Excellent I would love to come back to see her but I was told that I have to pay more because I’m a Man!! The price was $45, but I was charged $53, because I’m a Man they told me!!! If I do go back I’m getting the price up front and not depending on what the price list says. Meanwhile I’m on the hunt for a good nail place without going in Center City in the Rittenhouse Square area where I know is sanitary and they serve cocktails, water, or coffee, and charge the same price. I just started staying in my neighborhood since the pandemic but I see that it’s time to get back to my routine

Pedicure was great even though I asked for a specific spa pedicure and they gave me whatever they wanted. I got a polish change and was charged for a manicure. Also management must have changed because a few nail techs are no longer there and the new nail techs continue to say they are on “vacation”. I won’t be back due to being overcharged

I’ve been going to Hollywood Nails for almost 2 years now and the owner, Tia, always does an amazing job! All the nail techs are friendly and care about their customers. They also have a ton of colors and designs to pick from and their prices are amazing for the quality of work they do.

Looked at all the negative reviews and all had the same common theme. These people will overcharge you and make up prices when it’s time to pay for your service. What’s posted on their price list is in contradiction with what they actually charge you. Also, there is a nail technician there that greeted us, rushed us to pick a nail color and was quite rude in general. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE..

Overcharged, rude, seemed irritated..and I’m a good tipper,. Smh..I swear my overpriced “spa’ pedicure was nothing special and seemed to be exactly as the regular pedicure my friend got. All the same processes, and she got the better massage. I tipped her, not my rude lady. The older, kind lady is patient and sweet. The girl in the 1st chair, not so much.. $190 for 2 pedicures, a refill, but I only have overlay on 7 fingers, 3 were slammed in a door, and a manicure with a gel polish..and the manicure my friend got took longer than my fill..If that’s how she makes her money robbing people so the customers never return, she’s doing a great job. And the refill lasted about a week and a half..Sub-par at best

I went to get my nails done today and the day before coming I called to make an appointment and asked how much my nails would be. The price given over the phone was completely different from what I was being told after my nails were done. The owner tried to make up an excuse for why it cost more claiming my nails were long when really they weren’t. The prices they tell you in person are different from what is shown in the salon. This salon will try and rob you for your money and when you question them will get an attitude with you. I went to get my nails done today and the day before coming I called to make an appointment and asked how much my nails would be.
