Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve had my nails done here multiple times and have never had a single complaint. Went today with my 7 year old daughter and got 2 pedicures and 2 manicures for my wedding . Quality is great, they were kind but when I went to pay I was informed it was $210 dollars. My jaw hit the floor, my 7 year old was charged as an adult and I was never informed of this until after the services were completed, or I can assure you my 7 year old wouldn’t be running around with a $105 manicure/pedicure. When I expressed my disbelief the lady checking me out held on to my debit card and informed I HAD to pay. I’ve had my nails done here multiple times and have never had a single complaint. Went today with my 7 year old daughter and got 2 pedicures and 2 manicures for my wedding . Quality is great, they were kind but when I went to pay I was informed it was $210 dollars. Critical: Professionalism, ValueMy friend and I went here. They are way over priced. They charged me $5 for my nail polish which was pretty, but nothing special (OPI). When the girl was scrubbing my friends feet she cut her and didn’t discount her pedicure. I couldn’t understand anything they were saying. After not being able to communicate properly the lady finally gave me a beat up brochure almost ripped in half, and there still wasn’t pricing on it. My friend and I went here. They are way over priced. They charged me $5 for my nail polish which was pretty, but nothing special (OPI). When the girl was scrubbing my friends feet she cut her and didn’t discount her pedicure. I couldn’t understand anything they were saying. Then when I got my nails done the woman basically cut my skin while trying to file my nails. After she was done, I told the tech I would not pay full price for nails since services were so bad. I was basically told it was just an accident and to get over it. He still insisted I pay full price. He did not try to compensate me for my troubles in any way.To avoid getting any more angry than I already was. I paid, but WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS SUB PAR ESTABLISHMENT. Customer service is trash and work is mediocre. I went in for a routine pedicure and full set on Saturday and was very disappointed with the services. The quality of work was poor and rushed. I was told that the only tech who could provide the service I desired was about to leave to pick her husband up from the hospital. This would have been fine, only this particular tech was doing a manicure. If you have to pick up a loved one from the hospital, I am sure you would not be sitting there doing someone’s nails. And before anyone suggests her husband is a doctor, I will say that I doubt he would need her to come pick him up. I sat outside of the shop for an hour and neither tech left the building. I was told that the only tech who could provide the service I desired was about to leave to pick her husband up from the hospital. I usually bring a photo for inspiration, and she creates nail art for me that is always perfection. I never have any lifting or breaking on my acrylic sets, which I’ve never had from other salons. I also receive the salon pedicure when I have the time. It is worth the “up charge” as it comes with more services and takes more time. I never feel rushed or unwelcome here. All the employees smile, and make sure the other customers feel the same. This is a five star establishment. I have been coming to Thao for over a year. She is always professional and courteous of my time. I usually bring a photo for inspiration, and she creates nail art for me that is always perfection. I never have any lifting or breaking on my acrylic sets, which I’ve never had from other salons. I also receive the salon pedicure when I have the time. It is worth the “up charge” as it comes with more services and takes more time. I never feel rushed or unwelcome here. All the employees smile, and make sure the other customers feel the same. This is a five star establishment. A family run business that works very hard, and I will continue to support them and their excellent services!
