I have a regular nail salon that I normally go to. However, I stopped at holly nails because it was near where I worked and I only had a 2 hour break or so to spend doing something to be back in time that evening for the talent show. So, I had gotten to holly nails and there was just one lady working and another getting her nails done. The lady took a bit to finish which was fine. But, as the lady started to do my nails I instantly regretted my decision. The floors were dirty and the salon was WAY OUTDATED. She also made my dip nails way too thin. Then she tried to charge me 50 dollars for dip nails. Anywhere I’ve ever been has ALWAYS CHARGED 40 and that’s with a nail tip. So I was not happy. To top everything off my nails started coming off not even a WEEK AFTER I GOT THEM DONE!!!! I still paid 46 with the tip !!! It’s insane I paid that much for nails to barely last a week. I will never go back or tell people to go there. I will stay going to the place I regularly go to!

I went in to Hollys to get my nails done for the first time about a month ago. I got a set of solar nails, pink and white. The woman there was VERY friendly, took time to explain things to me. She took time out to ask my name, find out about me. She interacted with my 15 year old daughter who came with as well and my 8 month old baby that had to come with too. Her and I talked, she really was a nice lady. She did a perfect job on my nails with minimal instruction. I told her I didn’t want them really short, and didn’t want them really long.. just kind of a medium length and she completed my nails just perfect. I would definitely go back here again soon. I have since then went to CA nails down the road in Red Oak, they do OK but they’re not as friendly. I’m going to return to Holly’s I think.

I’ve been going to Holly Nails for about 6 months. The customer service is the best out there. Their prices are very reasonable. Their services are done in the right amount of time. I don’t feel like I’m being headed like cattle. It’s pleasant. A plus for me is that everyone speaks the same language with courtesy and respect. You get what you want and with a smile. A +. Two thumbs up indeed. I’ve been to many salons all over the DFW and I would give Holly Nails the highest ranking out of 25 salons that I’ve been to over the past 2 years.

Poor service, their nail techs are not professional, they cannot do nails at all, everyone’s nails I’ve seen so far, looks terrible!! I cannot believe they are charging to do this kind of mess! They defineltly should consider getting more training to learn how-to do neat quality work.

WORST nail salon I’ve been too. I went in last Saturday for a gel manicure. I was told it would last 2-3 weeks. I didn’t even get a full week without chipping and my nail breaking. The entire time I was getting my nails done, the man was very rude. You could tell he didn’t want to be there, rushed around the entire time and didn’t bother to say anything after I paid him but “Bye.” The salon was very dirty and outdated. If you want customers to keep coming back REPLACE your old polish, clean up the place and invest in a broom/mop. There’s a thought!

The people there are so rude! I went to get a full set and was unhappy with the result. When I asked to have my nails fixed they looked at me like I was crazy and asked what was wrong? They looked like duck feet, some of the nail material was still on my finger and my nail polish was painted so bad…my whole nail wasn’t even painted! Right away they started arguing with me telling me to just soak them off and get my money back. All it took for them to fix them was 10 minutes of filing and drying! I would never refer anyone to go there! what happened to okay let me fix them and everyone is happy? They are very unprofessional!

I’ve been here a few times with my little girl. It’s always been 27 for a pedi for me and 10 for her. But went in yesterday had the same thing done and was told it was 18 for her keep in mind she’s 5. Cant even reach the back of the chair for a massage and can only reach the tub part if she stands the whole time. So basically they charged me 18 to paint her toes. Then argued with me saying that’s always been the price! We will never go back!

I asked for gel nails and got a gel polish manicure. Gel polish normally lasts about two weeks but mine lasted only 3 days before a quarter of my thumb gel polish peaked off. Also asked for American manicure and got a French. Then the pedicure was rushed. Polish chipped the first day and you can see gaps near the sides of my nail bed.
