Holly and Hudson Nail Lounge is in the business of offering first class nail spa facilities to allow fully licensed artisans in the nail spa industry to rent space to offer their services to the public. The independent nail associate provides a fully furnished, high-end work environment, along with support services. This allows her or him to concentrate on working their unique manicure and pedicure skills free from the administrative headaches involved in building out and operating their own large nail spa spaces. I have been visiting H&H Manhattan Beach for the past 6 months. Having visited many nail salons across LA over the past 7 years I can honestly say this place is the best. Kevin on reception is so friendly and accommodating, all their technicians are fantastic but I have to say that Vivian is the best nail tech I’ve experienced. She is professional and friendly and so accommodating. She really cares about her customers and is excellent to communicate with, she always accommodates me, even last minute. I have GelX on my fingers and she always manages to create my crazy nail art design ideas. All the techs I’ve had for Gel pedicures have been great too. The salon is clean and airy and the free parking in the MHB Village mall makes visiting the salon even easier. The pricing is fair too. I highly recommend this salon (and Vivian 🙂

If you are looking for a great nail technician go to Brenda at Holly Hudson. She is amazing. She does it all well from acrylics to manicures she is great. The management is fantastic too.

I was scheduled for a hand mani plus 15 min massage and a foot scrub with a 15 min massage. While the service was started 15-20 mins late in spite of having an appointment, my biggest shock was when the lady who was doing my hand mani and scrub ( I learned her name is Carole) suddenly in the middle of the session, after scrubbing my hands and before applying nail polish asked me to pay the full amount upfront. Her words were “ I collect the payment from my clients before hand” and she just stopped in the middle and kept looking at my face until I pulled my wallet out of my bag. This was extremely rude, uncalled for and extremely awkward and embarrassing for me. Literally every one else was paying for their services after and not before or randomly in the middle. And then additional she added it would be better if i paid in cash, rather than card. I told her i did not carry much cash but can pay with card, to which she said it will be better if you pay in cash, even 50-50 is ok. And she stood there looking at me rumaging through my wallet to see if i had cash. This was extremely embarrassing. I ended up having $50 cash, and since she did not stop looking at me, i gave it to her and paid the rest by card. I don’t think the lady at the front desk was aware she was asking me to do this. This was extremely unprofessional, rude and makes me want to never come back to this place again, especially not to this lady. I have regular mani/pedi appointments, and while I was willing to give a good tip, i was not expecting this. If she wanted me to pay beforehand, i should have been told before starting the service about such expectations so I could have a choice to continue or not. This left me in a very awkward position which I truly am disappointed in. This also pulled me out of my relaxing mood ( which is what I was there for ) and instead made me regret coming there. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed and would NOT recommend anyone going there.

This was my first pedicure ever, and didn’t really know what to expect. I was greeted warmly and they could accommodate me right away. Linda did a fabulous job, and I felt like a King walking out of the salon. So relaxing! I will definitely be back. Pedicure

I like this place, but one time I paid no more than $30 for a pedicure and another time I pad $60 for a French pedicure. I know the French pedicure is more, but $30 more? I like this place, but next time I’m going to make sure I don’t get over charged again. Pedicure

This place is located inside the mall, on the south end. This place is a little pricey I paid 33 for a gel manicure. Beautiful location tho, very clean, polite staff and they did a very good job. They make sure you are happy with the service you are paying for. Made me feel very comfortable. Would go back.
