Stephanie and Jake McMillanis are hairdressers inside The Hair Foundation downtown Northville. They believe that the body, mind, spirit, and the environment are all interconnected and affects our health – and ultimately, our hair. So to keep the ecosystem balanced we consistently employ sustainable practices in our homes and salons. Unlike regular salons, we treat each client as a whole person, immersing them in multi-sensory, non-toxic salon experiences. When you walk into a non-ammoniated salon space, smell the diffuser going with air clean notes, hear relaxing music, and are greeted with an aroma tea blend, you start to calm and disconnect from the hectic world.
