Went in on Tuesday July 5th late in the afternoon, seemed like a nice clean place. I was shocked they were open b/c we planned to go next door but they were closed I guess for the 4th of July. My son needed a little hair cut to straighten out his buzz cut, there was a black lady and a white lady working. Sorry, didn’t get names. There were no customers there, so no wait which was nice. The white lady helped us—she seemed ok. Neither was friendly—you’d think we walked in on them arguing or something, not even a smile just responsive. The lady cutting my son tried to be friendly which was nice, she asked him questions about school and sports. The black lady sat down at a stall and stared at me for a bit while I waited for my son— then after a few minutes she got up and used all the equipment and products at the stall she was sitting at to style her own hair. After watching her use everything and then not clean/disinfect them, I got to wondering if they cleaned any of their combs and stylers after each customer and their own use.

Shanda did a great job and did exactly what I wanted. This was my first of many visits. She was extremely nice and easy to get along with and patient. She seems to really enjoy what she does. I have natural hair and it can be hard to find someone competent with my texture and color. The integrity of my curls are still in tact.

I have been there before this it was probably one of the worst experiences ever. The lady was not personable she didn’t even match my hair color the way it should’ve been so now I have different colors of hair and after you shampoo and condition someone’s hair you’re supposed to comb it or brush it she did it with her hand and when I asked her to curl my hair she did not and I will not use her ever again I will speak to management about her

Critical: PunctualityOn two separate occasions, I’ve scheduled an appointment well in advance only to show for my appointment and find that I was expected to wait for an hour for a stylist to free up. There’s no point in scheduling an appointment if their plan is to treat everyone like walk ins. Critical: Quality, ValueI tried to let corporate settle this or even respond to my message that I sent them, but never heard anything back so here I am making a public review. I went in for a hair cut a few weeks before and everything was fine, I went back 3 weeks later and this women charged for length, I asked her why because I usually go there for my hair cuts and she said it was something new, they charge you for length if you get a hair cut and your hair is below your shoulders, never in my life have I heard this.. mind you I only got a trim since my hair was recently cut so I’m upset that you have regular hair cut prices and then add 10$ for length. Who does that??? The salon was really clean. The stylists were super friendly. Anastasia did a great job on my cut going from hair halfway down my back to an almost pixie cut. I’ll definitely be back!
