Let me start by saying I’ve been going here for quite some time and have always been happy with my color results…until this past weekend. I had a terrible experience with what I can only assume is a brand new stylist. I was having a full color done with highlights. My first clue to a bad experience should have been the 30+ minutes to put in 8 foils. The stylist proceeded to color the rest of my hair and got brown hair dye all over my forehead and face. Then she realized my blonde highlights had been left on too long (they normally take 15-20 minutes and were left on about an hour and 15 minutes). She proceeded to lightly spray them with a water bottle and used a towel to try and wipe off the dye. Then we re-wrapped the foils! My highlights were bleached and I have a big clump in the front and zero highlights anywhere else. In the end, she wiped the dye off my face with a towel, long after the dye had already stained my skin. She was going to let me leave with my face brown had I not told her she needed to get it off. I still had to come home and scrub to get it off. Sadly, not a good experience this time.

I had such a great experience with Krystal at the Willow street location! I got a hair cut and then a few weeks later came back in for a body perm and trim with her. Both times she was so pleasant, professional and did an amazing job of listening to what I wanted and producing results that I couldn’t be happier with. It was incredibly easy to hold a fun conversation with Krystal while getting my hair done. One of my favorite things about her is that not only did she provide the results I envisioned, she also took the time to educate me. She didn’t hesitate to answer my questions about different aspects of hair care and the proper tools/products/techniques to use to maintain the look for my hair that I want and how to keep it healthy at the same time! A perm is a very tedious service but she in no way made me feel like she was rushing through it or bothered by it. You can tell she loves what she does and that makes all the difference! Not very happy with my haircut at all. She took it way to short and cut my bangs when I told her not to. Sat me in shampoo bowl before even looking at my hair and consulting with me to see what I exactly wanted. She didn’t even comb my hair to check for bugs before she started cutting it.
