I got my haircut by a stylist named Lee and she disregarded what I asked for and instead opted to give me a buzz cut even though that is not what I requested. She initially started by cutting part of my bangs off so there was no time to stop her from giving me the buzz cut do to her already taking a chunk out of my bangs she did not give me much choice in the haircut that she wanted and when asking for what I originally wanted she did not know the size of the guard based on whether it was like a half inch or a 4-in she only knew them by one twos and threes like the actual size of a guard which being someone who does not cut hair I do not know whether it’s a one two or three so she requested that I use knowledge that she should have known. Needless to say I will not be going back to Holiday hair and getting my hair cut by Lee I will come back in to Holiday hair when my hair needs cut again to try to work with somebody else but I will not work with Lee because she does not listen to what the customer wants and she wants to do what she thinks would look good on you.

My mom has had a fe-mullet since the 80’s and I finally convinced her to grow it out when COVID hit. She hasn’t had a cut since before COVID and was so leary to trust someone new to cut her hair especially with this big of a chop. She isn’t good with change and is super critical. Lydia cut her hair, and she loved it. In my 40+ years I’ve never seen my mom love her look. It was cute, like a mini makeover. Lydia was kind, patient, very knowledgeable and good with explaining what she was doing beforehand, which made my mom so much more comfortable. Thank you, for your good work Lydia:)

Kristy is awesome! I needed a haircut and my husband and I were planning a trip to Hanover for the day, so I decided to stop in at Holiday Hair in the mall. I’m so glad I did! Being a Saturday it was busy and was asked if I could come back in about a half an hour – 2:30 PM. We walked around the mall and came back at 2:30. Kristy was available. I asked for a long layers cut – nothing too drastic – trim of about an inch off of my current length. She asked if I wanted some face shaping as well – it was the first time any hairstylist has ever asked me that and I said yes. (Kristy’s‘s got a good eye – it helps frame my narrow face a bit.) She explained the products she was putting on my hair – some mousse and a spray heat protectant. I asked her to use a flat iron since I had never used one before and was interested in purchasing one. She explained how to use it. She did a really fantastic job! When my husband came back (he visited stores while I got my cut) he really liked my hair and as we were leaving he said, “It’s so nice when you get your hair cut and you look a lot better coming out than when you went in because that’s not always the case.” I couldn’t agree more! I’m definitely coming back to Kristy – she’s going to be my hairstylist from now on! The price was great as well – my last cut was at a high-end salon and it wasn’t anything to write home about. And I should mention I purchased the mousse and hair protectant and got a discount on both since I had styling done, that was a plus, too!

I took my two sons for haircuts. The one stylist gave my 5 year old son a good cut but she was curt and a bit rough with him (she was aggressive with how she turned and moved his head). The stylist who cut my older son’s hair was very nice but his hair was choppy and uneven. We won’t be back and I feel like it was a waste of time and money.

Went in for a hair cut. I tried to do it myself and I realized it was a little uneven so I wanted to get it done professionally. I hadn’t done this in 4 years and decided to treat myself since I messed up anyway. Hair dresser proceeded to shame me the whole time for not using salon products and how horribly taken care of my hair is. Then proceeds not to listen to The fact I didn’t need/want my bangs touched. Then doesn’t follow my part so now I have weird long bits to fix. Will not return. Was my favorite place 4 years ago but now I wouldn’t recommend it ever.
