I think 1 star is TOO MUCH for this place. Please don’t ever go to this horrible nail salon. The costumer service is useless. I went for the dipping powder and because I had dipping powder from another place they charge $7 dollar to take it off. They took 35 minutes JUST REMOVING the powder. The girl really acted like she doesn’t know what she was doing and she took forever. After all the process she said “let them dry” and I was waiting for her to finish because she didn’t put lotion or cleaned the border or take the cuticle out, NOTHING. I walked in with an appointment at 4:15 and was done at 6:15pm. I told the manager I wasn’t happy and I didn’t like my nails At all and she said she could give me $7 dollars discount in stead of $47 it would be $40 I tought it was ridiculous but I paid. When I went to my car and saw my nails with the sun light I had to go back and ask for my money back. They gave me my money back after she refused a few times to do it. I would ever go to that place again.

I LOVE HOA. It’s the only nail salon I will visit and I have been coming here for close to 15 years. My sisters and my mom come here too. The staff is great, pedicures are top-notch, everything is clean and sterilized, and the prices are very reasonable. The owner is amazing! I can’t say enough good things about Hoa.

make sure you tip your salonist yourself and not the register lady. owner like to take tips from workers. not sure about now, this was years ago just make sure to tip yourself if you like the job done.

I had my first gel manicure and spa pedicure here a few days ago. I was impressed and planned to come back. 3 days later I had a chip in one of my nails. I called to ask for a repair, prepared to pay for it. They fit me in straight away; However they fixed not only that nail, but also repainted all the others to make sure they matched and then charged me nothing at all for the repair that took 30 minutes to make my whole manicure perfect!! This is customer service as it should be, all done with the customer at heart! They have earned my business for good!!

I love the owner of this nail salon for starters. She has a great personality. Manicures and pedicures are always great. Instruments are sanitized. Staff is very sweet. Space is well ventilated and clean. Punch cards are available. Right off bus lines and some hourly paid and free street parking available.

I recently moved to Seattle and was devastated to loose my old nail tech. However, the staff and service providers have all given me a wonderful experience for a very reasonable price. As a person who has worked in the beauty industry for almost 20 years, I can say that the level of cleanliness and sanitation is some of the best I’ve seen in the industry. They are patient and attentive and pay close attention to detail. I am now a regular customer and use their loyalty card and also take advantage of their discounts for paying in cash on Wednesdays. I will say I’ve only been to the Roosevelt location, so I can’t speak for any other location.

I went into Hoa Salon on a Friday at around 2:00-2:30pm. The sun was finally out and the weekend was just beginning! I figured I’d go treat myself to a pedicure since I didn’t want to have gnarled toe nails with my flip flops all weekend. When I walked in there were 3 women getting various services (I assume getting manicures and/or pedicures but I didn’t ask). I was greeted sweetly by a smiling woman and sat in a very comfy leather chair. I ended up getting a manicure and a pedicure so at one point when my pedicure was finishing up a second woman walked in and asked if I minded that she start the manicure.

It’s the only place I go to. You can book appointments by text (definitely do this, they book up fast), space is large, clean and nice, Michelle the owner is AWESOME, and it’s a nice, positive vibe with all the techs. I always get a beautiful mani/pedi. Professional operation from top to bottom. Give them your business!
