Been going to May here consistently for over 5 years — i’ve also gotten my hair cut at other places when i was moving around, but HK was by far the best. Service is amazing and for a great price, and my hair always looks and feels the best afterwards. I usually get layers cut and May does an amazing job — the layers are super neat and grow out beautifully and healthily.

Not good at all for Indian hair.!!! I have wavy hair in the bottom and straight on top. I asked for layers cut and the old lady chopped them off using hair thinners. I asked her not to use the razors on my hair as it causes a lot of hair fall for me, to which she screamed at me and explained to me that these are not razors.. and then continued using it. Including the picture below .. these are professional hair thinning razors !

Call me crazy, but I used to get pay $50 for my men’s cut. But this time I really needed to rush and get a haircut before I fly out for vacation, so reluctantly I just drove up here to just get out the way. I was so surprised by how easy the whole process was. I walked in ladies in the front were yelling “haircut” and another woman popped out to service me. She asked if I wanted “short sides and long top?” And I’m like yup give me the basic Asian boy haircut. She finished in less than 10 min and I was happy with it! She knew how to thin my hair just like my more expensive stylists did. Five stars would go again.

I went for a hair cut. She was so fast. She just wanted me to move out. They charged $14 ( plus $2 tip I gave). Did not like that too fast cutting. They should treat each customer properly by giving them proper time. Their price is pretty much with the other salons but service is not at par at all.

Really rude and bad service. Just went to have my hair cut on 9/14/2019. I told Andy to cut only 1/3 of my hair. He said he got it, but he cut it all, Exactly All. He said it’s fashion and did not follow my request. Shame on You, Andy. Other staffs also do not respect to customer. Only the owner, May, kind of feel sorry about this. Finally, I considered May is very old woman and decided to forget it. So guys, if you want to go to have your hair cut in HK Hair & Beauty, please take the risk that you might get the totally different hair that you want.
