It was a great experience for my first time getting a pedicure and manicure. Sadly I’m a little annoyed because the manicure didn’t even last 4 hours. Got home and the polish was chipping and pealing off. I understand that the girls are training and learning in the profession they want to work; which is why I am not that mad. Update: Dawn fixed the polish and was very understanding. Thank you.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI have seen Dawn here 3x since February 2020 for highlights and haircuts. Every time I absolutely love how my hair comes out! I have thicker hair and have had bad experiences with other places that don’t cut it nicely and it ends up growing in weird. But Dawn is a pro and even when my hair grows out and I’m overdue, it’s still looking good!! Not only is she talented but she’s the nicest person!! I love chatting with her and also the environment of the salon. It’s cozy and organized with fun to look at all their products and things, it has a nice aesthetic. I am super thankful for a friend who recommended her! Always on time, considerate of COVID rules, and always a nice experience. I bought some products too from her recommendations and never felt pressured, and the products are awesome as well. I have thicker hair and have had bad experiences with other places that don’t cut it nicely and it ends up growing in weird. I wanted to get my hair cut on Saturday and went to John’s only to find out there was an hour wait. Went to His & Hair instead. They took me right away (No wait) and gave me a quality haircut. At $23 dollars it was a little expensive, but I’ll pay the extra not to wait an hour. I’ll definitely return

The girls were very nice, but it seems as if they knew nothing about dying hair. I came in wanting a simple dark to blonde ombré and my hairdresser was very confident in doing it. When she was done and showed me, it was so horrible, hideous and embarrassing. It went from my hair being black at my roots then a straight line an inch down, to all bleach blonde hair. I was honestly offended that they even thought that looked remotely good and would let me walk out of the salon like that. I mentioned that I didn’t like the result and asked for them to add in a medium tone to make the ombré fade instead of a straight line and farther down my hair… (I should have to tell you how to do it…?) They got annoyed and rushed me out of there. It was OK once they added the medium tone, but the fade still was pretty bad. I wasn’t paying for my hair, so I didn’t mind too much; but I wouldn’t have paid a penny if it was my money. Like I said, super nice girls but it’s unfortunate it seems like they don’t know what they are doing. An ombré is such a common hair style now and I wouldn’t have expected them to be clueless how to do one, they should have at least told me they don’t know how and I would have chose one color. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Another only good thing was they welcome you with free tea / coffee. I think they just need to reconsider who they hire.
