Cute little salon. Helen is so kind and has a wonderful spirit. Conversation was nice, she made me feel special. There are 2 entrances one in the back by the lot and one up front that leads down stairs. She has her phone at the ready to help you if you need directions. I got a pedicure and was very happy with the turn out. She respected my wishes and didn’t rub my feet raw, which happens to me a lot at salons. I felt the place could use a little more tidying, dust and whatnot, but other than that I’d go back for sure. The stations and equipment were clean which is most important. She only accepts cash, I believe. So I need to remember that for next time 🙂 Very sweet and quaint! Good Job to you His and Hers!

Helen gave me a deep conditioning treatment after I had my hair highlighted and fried at a different location. She didn’t charge me, but offered the condition and styling free of charge (even though she wasn’t the one who messed it up in the first place). She was easy to communicate with to get the appointment scheduled, on time, and has a lot of experience and knows what she’s doing. I appreciated her offer so much and my hair feels 10x healthier!

This salon I would recommend to anyone who wants to dye and cut your hair. It took about 3 hours, but it is worth it. Helen is slow and perfect at her work. At first, I was a little nervous because I didn’t know if the dye would be perfect. After she was done with my hair, I explained to her I wanted bangs and layers. Helen was able to make plans on the spot for you, if she is avaliable. I was her only customer for the afternoon, so she was willing to cut my hair. She served the best customer service I have ever seen. Thank you Helen for the amazing time we had. I am giving you a 5 star everything. She even added more black when I felt like it wasn’t dark enough. And she also added the red color muiltible times to make sure the red dye would pull out the black color more for the red streaks. And make the red streaks look great. I like the out come so much that I literally found myself looking into the mirror several times just to look at it when I got home. I LOVE IT!!!!! This place is very lovely. The prices are very reasonable for the fantastic work you receive. Got exactly what I was looking for, couldn’t ask for anything better. Helen is super charismatic and fun to talk to and the whole environment feels like home. I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else for my hair anymore this was phenomenal and I’m not exaggerating.

I live in Monmouth about a block away and haven’t even heard of this salon. I was searching through the web and I find her salon and decide to make a call on August 8th just to see her prices for highlights. She actually had me come in 20 minutes after I called her so she can check out my hair because I have extremely thick hair. Then we booked an appointment for Friday the 11th. After I got home maybe 15 minutes later she called me and asked if I wanted to come in at 6 so she could do my hair and her hours are (10-6) everyday but Sunday. So she stayed after closing to do my hair which took 2 and a half hours. When I was finished I was completely satisfied with my results. She did an amazing job! Also has such a sweet attitude an kind heart! Definitely recommend this place!
